Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi yang digunakan oleh Tim Pemenangan Prabowo-Gibran dalam meraih dukungan dari Generasi Z melalui kampanye politik di media sosial TikTok. Generasi Z, sebagai generasi yang sangat akrab dengan teknologi dan media sosial, memiliki karakteristik unik yang memerlukan pendekatan komunikasi politik yang berbeda dibandingkan generasi sebelumnya. TikTok, dengan format video singkatnya yang kreatif dan algoritma berbasis rekomendasi, menjadi salah satu platform yang paling efektif untuk menjangkau dan mempengaruhi Gen Z. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode wawancara mendalam kepada anggota tim pemenangan untuk menggali pemahaman mengenai desain, implementasi, dan dampak dari strategi kampanye di TikTok. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis untuk memahami bagaimana konten kampanye mampu membangun keterhubungan emosional, membentuk persepsi, dan memobilisasi dukungan politik di kalangan Gen Z. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Tim Pemenangan Prabowo-Gibran berhasil memanfaatkan TikTok sebagai media utama untuk menyampaikan pesan kampanye yang kreatif, relevan, dan sesuai dengan gaya komunikasi Gen Z. Konten yang menarik, penggunaan tokoh populer, serta penyampaian pesan yang informal dan relatable menjadi kunci keberhasilan strategi ini. Kampanye melalui TikTok tidak hanya meningkatkan popularitas kandidat, tetapi juga membangun kedekatan emosional yang signifikan dengan pemilih muda. / This study aims to analyze the strategies employed by the Prabowo-Gibran Campaign Team in garnering support from Generation Z through political campaigns on the social media platform TikTok. Generation Z, as a generation highly familiar with technology and social media, possesses unique characteristics that require a different approach to political communication compared to previous generations. TikTok, with its creative short video format and recommendation-based algorithm, has become one of the most effective platforms to engage and influence Generation Z. This research utilizes a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews conducted with members of the campaign team to explore the design, implementation, and impact of campaign strategies on TikTok. The findings reveal that the Prabowo-Gibran Campaign Team successfully utilized TikTok as the primary medium to deliver campaign messages that were creative, relevant, and aligned with the communication style of Generation Z. Engaging content, the involvement of popular figures, and the delivery of messages in an informal and relatable manner were key factors contributing to the success of this strategy. Campaigning through TikTok not only enhanced the candidates' popularity but also fostered significant emotional connections with young voters.
