Abstract
Sistem smart indoor farming merupakan solusi inovatif dalam meningkatkan
efisiensi budidaya hidroponik di tengah keterbatasan lahan dan ketergantungan
iklim. Menghadapi tantangan pertanian konvensional dan outdoor farming, penting
untuk memastikan efektivitas dan kepuasan pengguna dalam mengadopsi teknologi
smart indoor farming. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keberhasilan
sistem smart indoor farming dalam meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan efisiensi
penggunaan sumber daya tanaman hidroponik yang diuji pada smart indoor
farming. Data pengamatan diambil dengan membandingkan pertumbuhan tanaman
dan efisiensi sumber daya antara sistem smart indoor farming dan metode outdoor
farming. Pengukuran mencakup parameter larutan tanaman, parameter
pertumbuhan pada tanaman selada, reliabilitas hasil, serta pengendalian lingkungan
berbasis IoT. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa smart indoor farming dapat
meningkatkan pertumbuhan tanaman hingga 15% lebih cepat, jumlah daun yang
dihasilkan meningkat 20%, berat tanaman meningkat hingga 18%, serta
pengendalian hama sebesar 95%. Penerapan ini mengindikasikan bahwa sistem
smart indoor farming sangat efektif dalam memberikan hasil yang optimal dan
efisien, serta berpotensi besar untuk diterapkan dalam skala yang lebih luas./ The smart indoor farming system is an innovative solution for enhancing the
efficiency of hydroponic cultivation amid land constraints and climate dependency.
Facing the challenges of conventional farming and outdoor agriculture, it is
important to ensure the effectiveness and user satisfaction in adopting smart indoor
farming technology. This study aims to analyze the success of the smart indoor
farming system in improving plant growth and resource efficiency in hydroponic
cultivation tested within smart indoor farming. Observation data were collected by
comparing plant growth and resource efficiency between the smart indoor farming
system and outdoor farming methods. Measurements include plant solution
parameters, growth parameters of lettuce, result reliability, and IoT-based
environmental control. The study results show that smart indoor farming can
accelerate plant growth by up to 15%, increase the number of leaves by 20%, boost
plant weight by up to 18%, and achieve 95% pest control. This implementation
indicates that the smart indoor farming system is highly effective in providing
optimal and efficient outcomes, with great potential for wider-scale application.
