Abstract
Introduction: Blended learning combines face-to-face classroom learning with online, technology-integrated methods, providing flexible access to learning materials and improving focus and understanding. However, so many students feel unsatisfied with blended learning method due to issues with online learning media. Students participating in blended learning include millennials and Gen Z, who differ in their relationship with technology. Gen Z, accustomed to multitasking with advanced technologies, contrasts with millennials, many of whom had limited access to such tools, which is a factor that may result in their dissatisfaction with this method. Research Objectives: This study sought to compare the satisfaction scale towards blended learning methods of millennial and Gen Z nursing students. Research methods: This study used a correlational quantitative research method with a cross sectional research design. The population is all nursing students in Indonesia using questionnaire instruments as a source of data. In determining the sample required, it is obtained using G power with Tails: Two, Effect size : 0.5, error probability: 0.05, Power (1 – B error probability): 0.80, Allocation ratio N2/N1: 1, which then obtained the minimum required sample of 128 students with 64 students from Gen Z and 64 students from Millennials. Sampling are done by non-random convenience sampling technique. The instrument using a
questionnaire. Data analysis using the Mann-Whitney U test. Results: This study found that the value is .047 (p-value < .05) which indicatesthat there is a significant
difference in satisfaction between Millennial and Gen Z nursing students towards blended learning method. Recommendations: The next research we’re expected to
develop research on the factors that can affect the effectiveness of blended learning.
