Abstract
Percepatan informasi semakin erat dengan kehidupan masyarakat di saat media massa kembali mengalami inovasi di era globalisasi. Fungsi dari media massa dikembangkan kepada sistem yang lebih memudahkan masyarakat dalam mengakses informasi dan seiring perkembangannya media komunikasi tersebut menjadi kepentingan yang mutlak dalam proses globalisasi. Namun dengan kecepatan dalam mengakses informasi, masyarakat tidak dapat lagi mengontrol segala macam informasi yang ada, seperti kemunculan isu. Salah satu isu yang paling banyak diangkat adalah mengenai Calon Presiden 2019 termasuk isu hoax dalam membingkai kognitif masyarakat, terutama pemilih pemula. Dalam penelitian ini, permasalahan yang diangkat berfokus pada mahasiswa pemilih pemula yang pada dasarnya minim pemahaman politi, dan disonansi kognitif menjadi sebuah fenomena terkait dengan kampanye maupun isu yang disebarkan.Penelitian ini didasari oleh paradigma interpretif yang digunakan dalam mengkaji sebuah fenomena, sehingga paradigma tersebut sesuai dengan permasalahan yang ingin diteliti. Penggunaan Paradigma interpretif dapat menjawab pula tujuan utama dari penelitian yaitu untuk mengetahui gejala Fenomena disonansi kognitif Mahasiswa Pemilih Pemula dalam pengambilan keputusan pada Pemilihan Presiden 2019 serta sikap yang dapat diambil dalam mengatasi disonansi kognitif tersebut melalui pengambilan keputusan. / The acceleration of information’s getting tighter with people's lives, when the mass media experiences innovation in the era of globalization. The function of mass media is developed into a system that makes it easier for the public to access information and as it develops the communication media become an interest thing of the globalization process. However, with the speeds of information accessing , the public will no longer to control all kinds of information, such as the emergence of issues. One of the biggerst issues is regarding the 2019 Presidential Candidates including the hoaxes issue in framing the community’s cognitive especially for the first rime vouters student. In this research, the issues raised focus on the first tima voter’s student who basically has a minimum knowledefge of politics, and cognitive dissonance is a phenomenon related to the campaign and the issue being spread.
The research’s based on the interpretive paradigm that used in phenomenon studies, so that the paradigm is in accordance with the problem that wants to be investigated by focusing on the phenomenon of the election. The main pupose of research is to find out the processing of the cognitive dissonance phenomenon’s indications through the students as the first time voters in decision making at the 2019 Presidential Election as Citizens and Netizens as well as the attitudes that can be taken in overcoming cognitive dissonance through decision making.
