Abstract
Tingkat kesadaran dan kepedulian masyarakat Indonesia terhadap lingkungan dan konservasi energi masih tergolong rendah. Hal ini terbukti dari kecenderungan pemakaian AC yang berlebihan untuk menyejukkan ruangan, sedikitnya jumlah bangunan ramah lingkungan, dan juga meningkatnya total konsumsi energi dari tahun ke tahun. Penerapan sistem HVAC diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi untuk menjaga lingkungan dan meminimalkan biaya operasi suatu bangunan. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menghitung efisiensi listrik yang diperoleh dari penerapan sistem HVAC dan juga untuk membuat sebuah sistem informasi yang dapat mengolah data temperatur, kelembapan, dan intensitas cahaya yang diperoleh melalui Arduino dan ditampilkan dalam sebuah website. Penelitian ini dibuat dengan menggunakan metode prototyping. Hasil dari penelitian adalah sistem HVAC yang bersifat otomatis yang dibuat dengan menggunakan Arduino, sistem informasi yang dapat mengolah data sensor Arduino, serta sebuah website yang dapat mengelola data user, ruangan, dan alat listrik serta dapat menampilkan data sensor Arduino yang telah diolah. / The level of awareness and concern of the people of Indonesia on the environment and energy conservation is still low. This is evident from the tendency of excessive use of air conditioning to cool the room, the least amount of green buildings, along with the increase in total energy consumption from year to year. Implementation of an automated HVAC system is expected to be a solution to maintain the environment and minimize the operation cost of a building. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to calculate the electrical efficiency obtained from the application of automatic HVAC systems and to create an information system that can process the temperature, humidity, and light intensity data obtained through Arduino and displayed in a website. This research was created by using prototyping method. The result of the research is an automated HVAC system made using Arduino, an information system that can process Arduino sensor data, as well as a website that can manage user data, rooms, and electrical devices and can display Arduino sensor data that has been processed.
