Abstract

The increase of internet usage in Indonesia has introduced many kinds of services available in the digital world. For example, sending letters can now be done via e-mail, books are published in digital format known as e-books, and so on. Another example of such services that is accessible via the internet connection is online marketplace.Services for doing transaction online such as Tokopedia and Lazada have first appeared as a website. But the internet usage in Indonesia these days are mostly done via mobile phone. Nevertheless, for buyer and seller to do discussion about an item, they have to use other services such as SMS or WhatsApp. To solve this problem, a solution is sought by developing a mobile application that provides both a place for people to do online transactions and also to give them a place to discuss the items they are interested in. The test resultshave shown that every feature which had been previously designed are successfully implemented. Especially the forum feature, which has been designed based on a previous research. The forum feature is working as intended, being a means for a user to discuss items available in the application. / Meningkatnya penggunaan internet di Indonesia menyebabkan banyak jasa-jasa yang mulai masuk ke dunia dijital. Surat-menyurat mulai terganti menjadi e-mail, buku mulai diterbitkan secara dijital menjadi e-book, dan lain sebagainya. Contoh lain dari jasa yang dapat diakses dengan koneksi internet adalah jasa jual-beli secara online.Sarana jual-beli online seperti Tokopedia dan Lazada pertama muncul sebagai situs web. Namun penggunaan internet sekarang ini lebih banyak melalui mobile phone. Namun untuk melakukan diskusi, pembeli dan penjual perlu melakukannya melalui sarana luar seperti SMS atau WhatsApp. Untuk memecahkan masalah ini, dapat dikembangkan aplikasi mobile yang menyediakan bukan hanya tempat bagi orang untuk melakukan proses jual-beli secara online, tetapi juga memberikan sarana bagi mereka untuk melakukan diskusi mengenai barang yang mereka butuhkan. Hasil dari uji coba aplikasi membuktikan bahwa seluruh fitur-fitur yang telah dirancang sebelumnya telah berhasil diimplementasikan. Terutama fungsi forum, yang dirancang berdasarkan hasil penelitian sebelumnya, berhasil diterapkan di aplikasi baru ini. Fungsi forum ini berjalan sesuai dengan tujuannya, yaitu untuk memberikan sarana bagi pengguna untuk mendiskusikan barang yang tersedia di aplikasi.
