Abstract

Komitmen organisasi merupakan keinginan seseorang untuk tetap tinggal menjadi anggota suatu organisasi yang menyebabkan orang tersebut berjuang untuk menerima dan mencapai tujuan organisasi. Gaya kepemimpinan berperan dalam mempengaruhi bawahannya dalam komitmen organisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan gaya kepemimpinan kepala ruangan dengan komitmen organisasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional dan pendekatan cross-sectional. Sampel penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling, dengan kriteria inklusi perawat pelaksana yang bekerja di ruang rawat inap Rumah Sakit Umum Siloam Tangerang, sedang tidak dalam masa cuti, sedang tidak menjalani pelatihan atau pendidikan, sedang tidak mendapat sanksi indisipliner dan sudah bekerja diatas tiga bulan. Total responden adalah 37 responden pada perawat pelaksana. Data didapat melalui pengisian kuesioner, analisis data menggunakan uji univariat dan bivariat. Perawat pelaksana mempersepsikan kepala ruangan dengan gaya kepemimpinan Demokratis sebanyak 33 responden (89,2%), gaya kepemimpinan Partisipatif sebanyak 4 responden (10,8%), Otoriter dan Laissez-Faire sebanyak (0%). Komitmen organisasi perawat pelaksana ruang rawat inap RSUS tinggi (51,4%), dan rendah (48,6%). Tidak ada hubungan gaya kepemimpinan kepala ruangan dengan komitmen organisasi perawat pelaksana nilai p value 0,954 (≥0,05). Maka disarankan untuk tetap mengasah gaya kepemimpinan dan menekankan komitmen organisasi pada masing-masing dimensi komitmen organisasi yaitu komitmen afektif, komitmen kontinuan dan komitmen normatif, sehingga dapat menjadi acuan peneliti selanjutnya./ Organizational commitment is a person's desire to remain a member of an organization that causes the person struggling to accept and achieve organizational goals. The role of leadership style is influencing a subordinate in organizational commitment. This study aims to determine the relationship of head nurse leadership style with organizational commitment. This study uses quantitative method with a correlational design and cross-sectional approach. The sample of this study uses purposive sampling, with the inclusion criteria nurses working in inpatient wards Siloam General Hospital, were not in a period of leave, were not undergoing training or education, did not receive disciplinary sanctions and have been working for three months. The total respondents were 37 nurses. The data was obtained through questionnaires and analysis of data used univariate and bivariate test. Head nurses perceive the Democratic leadership style with a total of 33 respondents (89.2%), Participative leadership style 4 respondents (10.8%), and none (0%) perceive LaissezFaire Authoritarian. Organizational commitment of nurses inpatient unit was high (51.4%), and low (48.6%). There is no relationship between leadership style of head nurses with organizational commitment with a p value 0.954 (≥ 0.05). It is advisable to keep sharpening the leadership style and emphasizing organizational commitment in each of the organizational commitment dimensions. There are affective commitment, continuance commitment, and normative commitment that may be references for further research.
