Abstract

The event of Kartu Kuning Jokowi is an action produced by Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa of University Indonesia's. This event occurred on February 2, 2018 where Zaadit Taqwa gave a warning by giving a yellow card to the President of Indonesia. Shortly after this incident, Zaadit was invited to Mata Najwa's talk show. This event was a trending topic on Indonesian Social Media Twitter. This event generate many pros and cons. This study is intended to overview how Kepresma Trisakti and BEM UPH's perceptions towards this event. The researcher was interested in seeing the perceptions of the two organizations because both of them were organizations from private universities but had various differences. The meaning or definition of perceptions and its process is based on the concepts brought forward by DeVito, which are the Stimulation, Organization, Interpretation, Memory, and Recall, besides that this research will also be associated with the Attribution Theory by Headers. This study uses a qualitative approach, with descriptive research methods. Data collection was conducted with Interviews and Literature Studies on six informants. Through this research, there are four new perceptions formed, the perception that this event is a unique action, perception of ethics, substance, and the last is the connection of Zaadit, BEM UI with the party. This event can certainly change the perceptions of Student Organizations, as well as the general public towards an action carried out by Student Organizations. / Peristiwa Kartu Kuning Jokowi merupakan sebuah aksi yang dihasilkan oleh Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa Universitas Indonesia. Peristiwa ini terjadi pada 2 Februari 2018 dimana Zaadit Taqwa memberikan peringatan dengan memberikan kartu kuning kepada Presiden Indonesia. Tidak lama setelah peristiwa ini terjadi Zaadit diundang ke acara talkshow Mata Najwa. Acara ini menjadi trending topic pada Media Sosial Twitter Indonesia. Peristiwa ini banyak menuai pro dan kontra. Penelitian ini ingin melihat bagaimana persepsi Kepresma Trisakti dan BEM UPH terhadap Peristiwa ini. Peneliti tertarik melihat persepsi kedua organisasi tersebut karena keduanya sama-sama merupakan organisasi dari universitas swasta namun memiliki berbagai perbedaan. Pengertian persepsi dan prosesnya didasarkan pada konsep yang dikemukakan oleh DeVito, yaitu melalui proses Stimulation, Organization, Interpretation, Memory, dan Recall, selain itu penelitian ini juga akan dikaitkan dengan Teori Atribusi oleh Header. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan metode penelitian Deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan Wawancara dan Studi Kepustakaan terhadap enam informan. Melalui penelitian ini, terdapat empat persepsi baru yang terbentuk, persepsi bahwa peristiwa ini merupakan sebuah aksi yang unik, persepsi terhadap etika, substansi, dan yang terakhir adalah keterkaitan Zaadit, BEM UI dengan partai. Peristiwa ini tentunya dapat merubah persepsi Organisasi Mahasiswa, maupun masyarakat umum terhadap sebuah aksi yang dilakukan oleh Organisasi Mahasiswa.
