Abstract

Pembelajaran daring merupakan langkah yang diambil oleh institute pendidikan dalam pencegahan penyebaran COVID-19 di Indonesia. Hal ini membawa perubahan kondisi pembelajaran baik secara positif maupun negatif. Salah satu tantangan yang terjadi dalam proses pembelajaran daring adalah membangun keaktifan siswa dimana siswa terlihat cenderung pasif dalam pembelajaran, kurang berinteraksi dengan guru saat pembelajaran, contohnya siswa ragu untuk memberikan jawaban, siswa lebih banyak diam ketika ditanya serta tidak fokus pada penjelasan guru. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menjelaskan peran guru dalam membangun keaktifan siswa melalui penerapan metode inkuiri pada pembelajaran daring. Penelitian ini menggunakan data dan informasi yang dikumpulkan melalui RPP, lembar observasi, refleksi mengajar, umpan balik mengajar dan pengolahan data dengan metode analisis deskriptif sehingga mencapai suatu kesimpulan. Berlandaskan wawasan Kristen Alkitabiah yang menjelaskan bahwa siswa merupakan gambar dan rupa Allah yang memiliki kemampuan dan talenta pada dirinya sehingga penerapan metode pembelajaran inkuiri berfokus bagaimana mengembangkan kemampuan siswa dalam membangun pengetahuannya lalu mengarahkan siswa untuk terlibat aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Kesimpulannya adalah penerapan metode inkuiri menunjukkan keberhasilan dengan membangun rasa ingin tahu maupun keaktifan dalam menjawab pertanyaan guru. Saran dari penulis adalah lebih memperdalam baik langkah maupun variasi penerapan metode pembelajaran inkuiri dalam meningkatkan keaktifan siswa serta mengaitkannya dengan pandangan pendidikan Kristen./ Online learning is a step taken by educational institutes in preventing the spread of COVID-19 in Indonesia. This has led to changes in learning conditions both positively and negatively. One of the challenges that occur in the online learning process is building student activity where students tend to be passive in learning, less interacting with the teacher during learning, for example students hesitate to give answers, students are more silent when asked and do not focus on teacher explanations. The purpose of this study was to explain the role of teachers in building student activity through the application of the inquiry method in online learning. This study uses data and information collected through lesson plans, observation sheets, teaching reflection, teaching feedback and data processing using descriptive analysis methods to reach a conclusion. Based on the biblical Christian insight which explains that students are the image and likeness of God who has abilities and talents in him, the application of the inquiry learning method focuses on how to develop students' abilities in building knowledge and then directs students to be actively involved in the learning process. The conclusion is that the application of the inquiry method shows success by building curiosity and activeness in answering teacher questions. The suggestion from the author is to deepen both the steps and variations in the application of inquiry learning methods in increasing student activity and linking them to the viewpoint of Christian education.
