Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 mengharuskan pihak guru maupun murid untuk melakukan proses pembelajaran secara daring/online. Guru harus memiliki strategi baru untuk melibatkan siswa pada proses pembelajaran karena keterlibatan siswa akan mmapu menerima pembelajaran yang dalam dan hidup. Fakta yang terjadi pada salah satu sekolah Kristen Kindergarten 3 (TK B) yaitu murid yang berjalan-jalan, mengobrol dengan adik atau kakaknya dan terlihat bosan selama kegiatan pembelajaran online sinkronus ini. Tujuan penulis yaitu agar guru mengetahui seberapa pentingnya keterampilan yang dimiliki guru terhadap keterlibatan siswa. Dengan keterampilan menjelaskan yang diberikan Tuhan untuk terlibat langsung dalam pembelajaran sehingga mampu menuntun siswa menjadi warganegara kerajaan Allah. Penulisan karya ilmiah ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, yang menggunakan data pendukung menggunakan lembar refleksi dan lembar umpan balik mentor di salah satu sekolah Kristen di Jakarta. Sumber pendukung karya ilmiah ini yaitu berupa jurnal dan buku yang sesuai dengan masalah yang ditemukan penulis. Adapun solusi yang dilakukan penulis yaitu memberikan penekanan melalui intonasi dan ekspresi yang dimiliki membuat siswa terlihat lebih aktif dan berdialog dengan guru. Hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa memberikan penekanan melalui intonasi dan ekspresi membuat siswa memiliki minat untuk terlibat dalam proses pembelajaran. Guru disarankan tidak melulu menggunakan metode ceramah dalam menggunakan keterampilan menjelaskannya namun peka terhadap situasi dikelas./ The Covid-19 pandemic requires both teachers and students to carry out an online / online learning process. So the teacher must have some new strategies applied to get students engagged in the learning process. The fact that happened in one of the Kindergarten grade B (TK B) Christian schools is that students walked, chatted with their siblings during online learning activity. The aim of the writer is to inform the teacher that it is very important to have skills to make the students involved well in the learning process. With the talent of explaining skills granted by God to the taecher, he/she can directly involve students. And hopefully, the students become citizens of God's kingdom.The writing of this scientific paper uses descriptive qualitative research, that uses supporting data, a reflection sheet and a mentor feedback sheet at a Christian school in Jakarta. Sources of support for this scientific paper are in the form of journals and books in accordance with the problems found by the author. The solution made by the writer is to emphasize through intonations and expressions which help make students look more active and have a dialogue with the teacher. It can be concluded that giving emphasis through intonation and expression make students interested in being engagged in the learning process.Teachers are advised not only to use the lecture method in explaining the lesson, but also he/she should be sensitive to the situation in the class
