Abstract

Metode tanya jawab merupakan salah satu upaya yang dapat diterapkan oleh guru pada kegiatan pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan keaktifan siswa. Keaktifan siswa merupakan masalah yang sering ditemui pada kegiatan pembelajaran. Pembelajaran yang dilakukan secara online juga memiliki masalah yang sama yaitu siswa cenderung tidak aktif selama pembelajaran berlangsung. Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan praktik mengajar yang dilakukan di kelas 7, 8, dan 9, ditemukan bahwa keaktifan siswa merupakan permasalahan yang sering terjadi selama proses pembelajaran online. Hal tersebut terlihat dari sedikitnya siswa dalam memberikan respon terhadap pesan guru di grup telegram, sehingga kegiatan pembelajaran terkesan pasif. Melalui permasalahan tersebut, tujuan dari penulisan makalah ini ialah untuk memaparkan penggunaan metode tanya jawab sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan keaktifan siswa pada proses pembelajaran online. Dengan demikian, sangat diperlukan peran guru Kristen sebagai fasilitator untuk mengupayakan keaktifan siswa dengan menggunakan metode tanya jawab pada pembelajaran online. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil dari penerapan metode tanya jawab pada pembelajaran online cukup efektif untuk meningkatkan keaktifan siswa, sehingga guru dan siswa memiliki interaksi serta komunikasi yang cukup. Untuk menjalani peran guru Kristen sebagai fasilitator, guru perlu membekali dirinya dengan unsur-unsur pedagogi yang sesuai dengan standar kompetensi guru. / The question and answer method is an effort that can be applied by teachers in learning activities to increase student activity. Student activeness is a problem that is often encountered in learning activities. Learning that is carried out online also has the same problem, namely, students tend to be inactive during learning. Based on the results of observations and teaching practices conducted in grades 7, 8, and 9, it was found that student activity was a problem that often occurred during the online learning process. This can be seen from the lack of students responding to teacher messages in the telegram group so that the learning activities seem passive. Through these problems, the purpose of writing this paper is to describe the use of the question and answer method as an effort to increase student activity in the online learning process. Thus, the role of Christian teachers as facilitators is very necessary to strive for student activeness by using the question and answer method in online learning. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The results of the application of the question and answer method in online learning are quite effective 2 in increasing student activity so that teachers and students have sufficient interaction and communication. To fulfill the role of a Christian teacher as a facilitator, teachers need to equip themselves with pedagogical elements that are in accordance with teacher competency standards.
