Abstract

Sekolah dasar merupakan satu elemen dasar yang memiliki peran besar untuk bisa membentuk karakter siswa. Dalam mencapai tujuan tersebut maka diperlukan peran guru sebagai sosok yang menjadi orangtua bagi siswa di sekolah. Layaknya Yesus yang menuntun domba-dombaNya pada jalan yang benar. Guru sebagai penuntun siswa untuk mampu melakukan tindakan yang benar dan tidak dalam kehidupannya. Guru harus membimbing siswa kepada arah yang benar sehingga membentuk karakter yang serupa dengan Kristus. Penulis mendapati bahwa salah satu karakter yang harus dibentuk sedari sekolah dasar ialah kedisiplinan. Oleh karena itu, tujuan penulisan tugas akhir ini ialah untuk melihat peran guru dalam pembentukan disiplin siswa. Salah satu tindakan yang dapat dilakukan oleh guru untuk membentuk kedisiplinan siswa ialah menegur siswa ketika tidak disiplin. Melalui penelitian yang dilakukan penulis melihat bahwa beberapa siswa kelas V tidak disiplin dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran dan guru melakukan beberapa tindakan saat pembelajaran / Elementary school is a base element that has an important role in shaping the character of students. Through character education given in schools, the school has a goal to shape the character of elementary school students. To reach, this goal, the role of the teacher is needed. As a figure, the teacher becomes a parent to students at school. The teacher becomes someone who is awakened and imitated. Therefore, the teacher must guide students in the right direction to form Christlike characters. It is like Christ who leads His children to good things and does not leave His sheep when the sheep stray. He guides Him on the right path. The author finds that one of the characters that must form from elementary school is discipline. Therefore, the purpose of writing this final project is to see the role of the teacher in shaping the character of student discipline. The formation of good character in students to become more like Christ as His image and likeness.
