Abstract

Pendidikan mempengaruhi proses peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia dan dapat diterapkan melalui proses pembelajaran. Proses pembelajaran terjadi saat adanya interaksi antara guru dan siswa. Proses pembelajaran saat ini dilakukan dengan penerapan pembelajaran jarak jauh dikarenakan adanya wabah covid-19. Penerapan pembelajaran jarak jauh menemukan kendala dan masalah yang menghambat tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran. Manajemen kelas diperlukan untuk mempertahankan suasana pembelajaran yang kondusif dan efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan peran dan upaya guru dalam memanajemen kelas pada proses pembelajaran jarak jauh. Guru memiliki peran untuk menciptakan suasana belajar yang kondusif, mengembangkan kemampuan siswa, serta memotivasi siswa dalam menumbuhkan kreativitas siswa. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan oleh guru dalam memanajemen kelas pada pembelajaran jarak jauh dengan upaya preventif dan refresif. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dekriptif dengan lembar umpan balik mentor, refleksi dan lembar observasi sebagai data penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan, diketahui bahwa secara teori guru mengetahui peran dan upaya yang harus dilakukan dalam manajemen kelas pada pembelajaran jarak jauh, namun pada penerapannya belum dilaksanakan dengan baik dan maksimal. Guru perlu meningkatkan kemampuan dan kreativitas dalam memanajemen kelas pada pembelajaran jarak jauh, sehingga proses pembelajaran dapat berjalan dengan baik dan tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran. / Education affects the process of improving the quality of human resources and can be applied through the learning process. The learning process occurs when there is an interaction between teacher and students. The learning process is currently being carried out by implementing distance learning due to the covid-19 outbreak. The application of distance learning finds obstacles and problems that hinder the achievement of learning objectives. Class management is needed to maintain a conducive and effective learning atmosphere. This study aims to describe the role and efforts of teachers in class management in the distance learning process. The teacher has a role to create a conducive learning atmosphere, develop student abilities, and motivate students to foster student creativity. Efforts that can be made by the teacher in managing classes in distance learning with preventive and regressive efforts. The research method uses descriptive qualitative methods with mentor feedback sheets, reflections and observation sheets as research data. Based on the results of research and discussion, it is known that in theory the teacher knows the role and efforts that must be made in classroom management in distance learning, but in practice it has not been implemented properly and maximally. Teachers need to improve their abilities and creativity in managing classes in distance learning, so that the learning process can run well and achieve learning objectives.
