Abstract

Dalam proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan untuk siswa kelas III pada sebuah sekolah di daerah Tangerang, peneliti menemukan permasalahan yang terjadi di dalam kelas antara lain: siswa tidak memperhatikan guru saat sedang menjelaskan, siswa berbicara dengan temannya saat pembelajaran berlangsung, berbicara tanpa meminta izin, tidak menyelesaikan tugas yang diberikan tepat waktu, menggangu teman saat pembelajaran sedang berlangsung, membuat keributan setelah mengumpulkan tugas, dan berbicara melebihi voice level yang ditentukan. Rendahnya sikap disiplin yang dimiliki oleh siswa kelas 3A membuat proses pembelajaran menjadi tidak kondusif. Untuk itu peneliti berencana untuk melakukan penelitian. Tujuan penelitian yaitu untuk meningkatkan sikap disiplin siswa dengan menerapkan peraturan kelas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan model Kemmis & Taggart yang dilakukan sebanyak tiga siklus. Siklus dilaksanakan pada tanggal 26 sampai 28 Oktober 2015. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah lembar checklist, kuesioner, dan jurnal refleksi. Data yang diperoleh akan dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Dari hasil penelitian dapat membuktikan bahwa penerapan peraturan kelas dapat meningkatkan disiplin siswa. Dimana dalam pelaksanaan pada siklus ketiga, semua indikator yang diukur mencapai standar indikator keberhasilan yaitu >80%./Researcher found some problems that happened in the learning process of the 3rd grades in a school at Tangerang, which are: students do not give attention while the teacher is teaching, students chat with their friends during the class, speak without permission, do not complete the assigned task on time, disturbing friends during the class, make some noise after they submit the task, and speak beyond the voice level that has been assigned. Reducing 3A student’ discipline will produce the unconducive learning process therefore the researcher planned to do a research. The purpose of the research is to increase student’ discipline by applying classroom rules. The research method that applied by three cycle investigation of the class action based on Kemmis & Mc Taggart style. The cycle held on 26th until 28th October 2015. The instrument used in the investigation are checklist sheet, questionnaire, and reflection journal. The obtained data will be descriptive qualitative analyze. The result will prove that classroom rules application will improve student’ discipline. Where on the 3rd cycle execution, all of the measured indicators reach the indicator success standard, which is up 80%.
