Abstract

Keterampilan guru dalam merancang pembelajaran dapat membantu siswa memahami pelajaran yang diajarkan. Akan tetapi, dalam Ilmu Pembelajaran Sosial (IPS) yang peneliti amati, didapatkan bahwa masih terdapat kecenderungan penyampaian materi hanya dengan menggunakan metode ceramah dan hasil belajar yang ditunjukkanpun tidak mengalami perubahan yang signifikan. Hasil belajar siswa cenderung sama dalam setiap tes yang diberikan. Oleh karena itu, peneliti berinisiatif menggunakan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD (Student Team Achievement Division) untuk melihat pengaruhnya terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial, kususnya pada topik Keragaman Suku dan Budaya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan rancangan pra-eksperimen one group pre-test post-test. Penelitian dilakukan pada siswa kelas V di Sekolah Dasar Swasta di daerah Jakarta Utara. Penelitian dilakukan pada tanggal 7 Oktober 2015 hingga 28 Oktober 2015. Peneliti menggunakan instrumen berupa soal tes tertulis untuk melihat hasil belajar siswa sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan STAD di dalam kelas. Peneliti juga menggunakan lembar observasi sebagai instrumen untuk memantau berlangsungnya pembelajaran menggunakan STAD di dalam kelas. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, diperoleh hasil perhitungan rata-rata preThe teacher’s skill in designing lesson can help students to understand about the lesson that been taught by the teacher. However, the Social Learning Sciences (IPS) which examined observed, it was found that there is still a tendency delivery of content simply by using the method of lecturing and learning results indicated no significant change. Therefore, the researcher used Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) to see the impact in student learning outcome of Social Science learning, especially in topic Tribe and Culture Diversity. The method that used in this research was experiment with one group pre�test post-test. The research was did in grade five students in one of elementary public school in North Jakarta. The research was held on October 7 until October 28, 2015. The instrument that carried out in this research is written test sheet to see students’ learning outcome before and after use STAD in the classroom. The researcher also use observation sheet as an instrument to monitor the process of learning with STAD inside the classroom. Based on the research, found that the pre-test average was 69,17 and the post-test average was 90,33. From comparison of pre-test and post-test average with T-test, it showes that the result of Tcount is 11,242 and Ttable is 1,69726 in significance standard of 5% or 0.05. Since Tcount>Ttable, it can be concluded that cooperative learning type STAD give influence to students’ learning outcome.test 69,17 dan rata-rata hasil post-test sebesar 90,33. Dari perhitungan perbandingan rata-rata hasil pre-test dan post-test menggunakan uji-T, diperoleh hasil Thitung sebesar 11,242 dan nilai Ttabel sebesar 1,69726 pada taraf signifikansi 0.05 atau 5%. Oleh karena nilai Thitung > Ttabel, maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD memberikan pengaruh pada hasil belajar siswa./
