Abstract

Keberlangsungan kegiatan belajar dan mengajar yang efektif dapat dicapai dengan adanya ketertiban di dalam kelas. Ketertiban siswa yang kurang di dalam kelas membuat proses pembelajaran menjadi kurang efektif dikarenakan guru mengalami kesulitan dalam mengajar. Ketertiban siswa dapat ditingkatkan apabila guru mampu menerapkan pengelolaan kelas dengan baik. Salah satu pengelolaan kelas yang dapat diterapkan adalah pengaturan tempat duduk dalam bentuk U. Berdasarkan pengamatan yang dilakukan peneliti di kelas satu Sekolah ABC, peneliti menemukan bahwa kebanyakan siswa memiliki masalah pada ketertiban mereka selama keberlangsungan kegiatan belajar dan mengajar di dalam kelas. Salah satu ketertiban siswa yang kurang dapat dilihat dari siswa kurang mematuhi perintah guru. Oleh sebab itu, peneliti melakukan penelitian ini dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui bahwa penerapan pengaturan tempat duduk dalam bentuk U dapat meningkatkan ketertiban siswa kelas satu. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan refleksi. Data yang diperoleh kemudian diolah dengan memberikan penjelasan secara deskriptif. Dari hasil penelitian dapat dilihat bahwa penerapan pengaturan tempat duduk dalam bentuk U untuk siswa kelas satu dapat meningkatkan ketertiban siswa dari 61,81% menjadi 64,59%. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pengaturan tempat duduk dalam bentuk U dapat meningkatkan ketertiban siswa dalam keberlangsungan kegiatan belajar dan mengajar di dalam kelas./Continuity of effective teaching and learning can be achieved in the presence of order in the classroom. Orderliness less students in the classroom to make teaching less effective because teachers have difficulty in teaching. Orderliness of students can be increased if the teachers are able to apply with good classroom management. One classroom management that can be applied is the seating arrangement in the shape of U. Based on observations conducted by researchers at the grade one of School of the ABC, researchers found that most students have problems in their order for the continuity of teaching and learning in the classroom. One order of students who are less visible than students less obey the teacher. Therefore, researchers conducted this study in order to determine that the application of the seating arrangement in the shape of U may increase the order of grade one. Methods used by researchers is the Classroom Action Research (PTK). The data collection is done by using observation, interviews, and reflection. The data obtained are then processed with descriptive explanations. From the research results can be seen that the application of the seating arrangement in the shape of U for grade one students can improve order from 61.81% to 64.59%. From the results of this study can be concluded that the application of the seating arrangement in the shape of U may increase the orderliness of students in the continuity of teaching and learning in the classroom.
