Abstract

Dalam penelitian ini peneliti sebagai guru melakukan tindakan perbaikan dengan menerapkan Problem Based Learning untuk meningkatkan sikap mandiri, keterampilan memecahkan masalah dan penguasaan konsep Matematika mengenai Faktor dan Kelipatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjabarkan pelaksanaan model Problem Based Learning untuk meningkatkan sikap mandiri, keterampilan memecahkan masalah dan penguasaan konsep Matematika mengenai Faktor dan Kelipatan. Menganalisis perkembangan sikap mandiri, keterampilan memecahkan masalah dan penguasaan konsep Matematika peserta didik. Mengidentifikasi kendala dan hambatan dalam pelaksanaan model Problem Based Learning beserta cara mengatasinya. Penelitian yang dilakukan menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dilaksanakan sebanyak tiga siklus dengan subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas IV SD XYZ Jakarta sebanyak 24 anak. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan test tertulis yang dianalisis secara deskriptif-kualitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan tindakan perbaikan dengan tahapan sesuai sintaks Problem Based Learning. Hasil yang diperoleh dari siklus I adalah untuk rata-rata penguasaan konsep 69,17. Rata-rata sikap mandiri memperoleh nilai 1,92 dan untuk rata-rata nilai keterampilan memecahkan masalah adalah 63,28. Kemudian pada siklus II diperoleh nilai rata-rata penguasaan konsep, sikap mandiri dan keterampilan memecahkan masalah secara berturut-turut adalah 74,17; 2,22; dan 65,10. Lalu setelah tindakan pada siklus III nilai rata-rata penguasaan konsep, sikap mandiri dan keterampilan memecahkan masalah secara berturut-turut adalah 85,42; 2,96 dan 79,43. Dari hasil peningkatan tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa model Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan sikap mandiri, keterampilan memecahkan masalah dan penguasaan konsep Matematika kelas IV SD XYZ Jakarta. / In this study, researchers as teachers took corrective actions by applying Problem Based Learning to improve independent attitudes, problem solving skills and mastery of Mathematical concepts regarding Factors and Multiples. This study aims to describe the implementation of the Problem Based Learning model to improve independent attitudes, problem-solving skills and mastery of Mathematical concepts regarding Factors and Multiples. Analyzing the development of independent attitudes, problem solving skills and mastery of students' mathematical concepts. Identifying obstacles and obstacles in the implementation of the Problem Based Learning model and how to overcome them. The research was conducted using Classroom Action Research which was conducted in three cycles with the research subjects were 24 students of grade IV SD XYZ Jakarta. The data were collected using interviews, observation and written tests which were analyzed descriptively-qualitatively. The results of this study indicate corrective action in stages according to the Problem Based Learning syntax. The results obtained from the first cycle are for the average mastery of concepts 69.17. The average independent attitude scored 1.92 and the average problem-solving skill score was 63.28. Then in the second cycle, the average value of concept mastery, independent attitude and problem-solving skills was 74.17; 2.22; and 65.10. Then after the action in cycle III the average value of concept mastery, independent attitude and problem solving skills were 85.42; 2.96 and 79.43. From the results of this increase, it can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning model can improve independent attitudes, problem solving skills and mastery of Mathematics concepts for class IV SD XYZ Jakarta.
