Abstract
A review of Ready To Drink (RTD) plant manufacturer shows insufficient application of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) on its daily operational activity. The objective of this study is to improve and maintain GMP of the RTD plant to achieve continuous quality assurance. Study was carried out comparing plant condition before GMP exist and after GMP check list was created and available through existing plant document study and approach such as plant Standard Sanitation Operating System (SSOP) supported relevant GMP literature. GMP implementation was performed in the plant within three weeks for further evaluation using GMP audit as a tool. Check list used was divided into four major sections representing major GMP elements: General Conditions, Building & Premises, Equipment & Facility and Production & Control Process. Nevertheless, this study may provide some of the most valuable benefits such as improvements in the GMP availability on the plant and to proceed to the next step to Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) and ISO 22000.
