Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the positive influence of the use of social media on information communication, to test the positive effect of information communication on customer satisfaction, to test the positive effect of communication on responsiveness, and also to test the positive effect of responsiveness on customer satisfaction. The study uses a quantitative approach with primary data collection using a research questionnaire that is distributed online to respondents, namely purchasing managers from companies that buy from PT. Pachira Distrinusa. Data analysis and hypothesis testing was carried out using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Smart Partial Least Squares (PLS) software. This study found that the use of social media has a positive influence on information communication, responsiveness and customer satisfaction. On the other hand, communication information has not affected customer satisfaction directly in the food industry, especially at PT. Pachira Distrinusa. The researcher used information communication and responsiveness as mediating variables and the size of the company, the number of employees, the company's standing year, and products purchased as control variables. / Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh positif penggunaan media sosial terhadap komunikasi informasi, untuk menguji pengaruh positif komunnikasi informasi terhadap kepuasan pelanggan, untuk menguji pengaruh positif komunikasi terhadap responsiveness, dan juga untuk menguji pengaruh positif responsiveness terhadap kepuasan pelanggan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan pengumpulan data primer menggunakan kuesioner penelitian yang didistribusikan secara online kepada responden yaitu manajer purchasing dari perusahaan-perusahaan yang membeli dari PT. Pachira Distrinusa. Analisis data dan pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan perangkat lunak Smart Partial Least Squares (PLS). Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa penggunaan media sosial memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap informasi komunikasi, responsif dan kepuasan pelanggan. Di sisi lain, informasi komunikasi belum mempengaruhi kepuasan pelanggan secara langsung di industri bahan makanan terutama di PT. Pachira Distrinusa. Peneliti menggunakan komunikasi informasi dan responsiveness sebagai variabel mediasi dan besar perusahaan, jumlah karyawan, tahun berdiri perusahaan, dan produk yang dibeli sebagai variabel kontrol.
