Abstract

In the era of the global pandemic since December 2020, the government has implemented quarantines to prevent the Covid-19 virus. Quarantine within a certain period can cause stress, fear, and anxiety. Travel plans are cancelled, jobs are reduced, people have mixed feelings. Pada era global pandemic sejak Desember 2020, pemerintah menerapkan karantina guna mencegah terjadinya penyebaran virus Covid-19. Karantina dengan jangka waktu tertentu dapat menimbulkan stres, cemas, ketakutan karena ketidakpastian. Rencana berpergian dibatalkan, lapangan pekerjaan menurun membuat orang memiliki rasa yang campur aduk. Mulai dari kecewa, marah, sedih dan takut. Perancangan ini ditujukan kepada masyarakat yang merasakan stress akibat pandemic yang ada untuk dijadikan sebagai salah satu alternatif mengurangi stress, yaitu diffuser ultrasonic dengan aroma rempah khas Indonesia. Bahan dasar yang digunakan penulis merupakan minyak atsiri rempah-rempah yaitu cengkeh, pala, kenanga, sereh wangi, sereh dapur, dan kayu putih dan beberapa aroma campuran untuk memaksimalkan pemanfaatan penggunaan minyak atsiri. Indonesia yang memiliki rempah-rempah yang berlimpah menjadi salah satu focus utama penulis dalam pembuatan produk. Dengan adanya diffuser aromaterapi dengan aroma rempah khas Indonesia, penulis berharap pengguna dapat mengurangi stress yang dirasa dan menikmati kegiatan sehari-hari ditemani dengan aroma rempah-rempah / Starting from disappointment, anger, and sadness. This design serves people who work in the house or whose activities are hampered and then experience stress due to the pandemic to be used as an alternative to stress reduction, ultrasonic diffuser with the aroma of Indonesian spices. The basic ingredients used by the author are essential oils such as cloves, nutmeg, cananga, lemongrass, citronella, and cajeput as well as some aroma mixtures to maximize the use of essential oils. Indonesia which has abundant spices is one of the main focuses of the author in making products. With the aromatherapy diffuser with the aroma of Indonesian spices, the author hopes users can reduce the stress felt and enjoy daily activities with the aroma of spices.
