Abstract

Culinary business has been growing rapidly from year to year especially in the Ayam Penyet culinary business which causes large amount of Ayam Penyet’s restaurants have started to appear and operates. However, most of these restaurants are similar in terms of design, menus, and price lists. This may influence the customer’s purchase decision as customers are always in search for new and unique restaurants that can provide different and good quality of food and service. Ayam Penyet Cabe Hijau Sunggal branch, as nominated as one of the most popular Ayam Penyet’s restaurant in Medan has a unique and different design from other Ayam Penyet’s restaurants. This restaurant has the concept of tropical garden which serves variety of traditional foods and provide the best facilities for the customers. The number of samples in this research are 96 customers who of restaurant Ayam Penyet Cabe Hijau, Sunggal branch. the sampling method used in this research is accidental sampling. This research is concluded as multiple linear regression analysis. The research result shows there is a significant influence of food quality (X1) on customer purchase decision at restaurant Ayam Penyet Cabe Hijau, Sunggal branch, which is indicated by the value of t count (2.036) > value of t-table (1.985). There is a significant influence of restaurant service (X2) on customer purchase decision which is indicated by the value of t count (7.280) > value of t-table (1.985). There is a simultaneous significant influence of product quality and restaurant service which is indicated by the value of f-count (48.311) > value of f-table (3.09)./ Perkembangan bisnis kuliner dari tahun ke tahun sangatlah pesat terutama dalam bisnis kuliner Ayam Penyet yang mengakibatkan banyak restoran Ayam Penyet mulai bermunculan dan beroperasi. Namun, Sebagian besar dari restoran tersebut memiliki desain, menu, dan daftar harga yang serupa dengan lainnya. Hal ini dapat mempengaruhi keputusan pembelian pelanggan karena pelanggan selalu mencari restoran baru dan unik yang dapat menyediakan kualitas makanan dan pelayanan yang berbeda dan baik. Ayam Penyet Cabe Hijau Cabang Sunggal yang dinominasikan sebagai salah satu restoran Ayam Penyet terpopuler di Medan ini memiliki desain yang unik dan berbeda dari restoran Ayam Penyet lainnya. Restoran ini memiliki konsep taman tropis yang menyajikan berbagai makanan tradisional dan memberikan fasilitas terbaik bagi pelanggan. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 96 pelanggan restoran Ayam Penyet Cabe Hijau cabang Sunggal. metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah accidental sampling. Penelitian ini disimpulkan sebagai analisis regresi linier berganda Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan terdapat pengaruh signifikan dari kualitas makanan (X1) terhadap keputusan pembelian pelanggan pada restoran Ayam Penyet Cabe Hijau Cabang Sunggal yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai t hitung (2.036) > nilai t-tabel (1.985). Terdapat pengaruh signifikan dari pelayanan restoran (X2) terhadap keputusan pembelian konsumen yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai t hitung (7.280)> nilai t-tabel (1.985). Terdapat pengaruh signifikan secara simultan antara kualitas makanan dan pelayanan restoran yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai nilai f-hitung (48.311)> nilai f-tabel (3.09).
