Abstract

Leadership is a quality that managers or leaders have in managing his/her subordinates in order to reach the goals to reach the same thing which is the company’s objective. Autocratic leadership style simply means the leader hold the absolute power in delegating jobs and making decisions which means that subordinates will have little to no power in expressing their ideas or making decision in even the smallest matter. Employees’ Loyalty can be defined as the company personnel who has the same mind and goal with the company that the employees are working in and try to improve both themselves and the company in order to reach a common goal. The research variables are Autocratic Leadership Style as the independent variable and Employees’ Loyalty as the dependent variables. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of Autocratic Leadership Style with Employees’ Loyalty with the population of 64 respondents and sample size gained by using Slovin’s Formula of 54 respondents. The data analysis method that will be used are Descriptive Statistics, Research Instrument Test, Classical Assumption Test, and Hypothesis Test. The result shows that: There is an influence of the Autocratic Leadership Style towards the Employees’ Loyalty, shown by the regression equation of Y= 0.796X, and also R2= 0.633./Kepemimpinan adalah kualitas yang dimiliki oleh seorang atasan untuk mengelola karyawan untuk mencapai tujuan perusahaan yang sama yaitu tujuan perusahaan. Gaya kepemimpinan otokratis berarti pemimpin memegang kekuasaan absolut dalam mendelegasikan pekerjaan dan membuat keputusan yang berarti bawahan akan memiliki sedikit atau tidak ada kekuatan dalam mengekspresikan ide-ide mereka atau membuat keputusan bahkan dalam hal terkecil. Loyalitas karyawan dapat diartikan sebagai personel perusahaan yang memiliki kesamaan pikiran dan tujuan dengan perusahaan tempat karyawan bekerja dan berusaha meningkatkan diri dan perusahaan untuk mencapai tujuan bersama. Variabel penelitian adalah gaya kepemimpinan otokratis dan loyalitas karyawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan otokratis dengan loyalitas karyawan dengan jumlah populasi 64 responden dan sampel yang didapat menggunakan Slovin’s Formula adalah 54 respoden. Metode analisis data yang digunakan di penelitian ini berupa Descriptive Statistics, Research Instrument Test, Classical Assumption Test, and Hypothesis Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: ada pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan otokratis terhadap loyalitas karyawan yang ditunjukkan dengan persamaan regresi Y = 0.796X, serta R2 = 0,633.
