Abstract

The high teachers‟ turnover rate and the indication of teachers‟ incompetence have initiated this research. Teachers‟ competences are closely related to their task performance. It is paramount for a school to employ teachers who have high task performance and willingness to stay in an organization for considerably long time. Task performance is related to several factors, i.e. communication satisfaction, internal Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), organizational commitment, and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). This Research aimed to investigate the effects of communication satisfaction, internal CSR, organizational commitment and OCB on teacher‟s task performance. All teachers of XYZ school, which accounted for 78 teachers, were the subjects of this research. PLS-SEM was selected as the research method, with the analysis was assisted by SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results show that internal CSR positively influences organizational commitment, OCB and task performance, communication satisfaction positively influences organizational commitment and OCB, and organizational commitment positively affects task performance. Meanwhile, communication satisfaction was not found to positively affect task performance. / Tingginya turnover guru dan indikasi rendahnya kompetensi guru di sekolah XYZ di Jakarta Barat telah melatar-belakangi penelitian ini. Kompetensi guru berkaitan erat dengan variabel kinerja tugas (task performance). Sangat penting bagi sebuah sekolah untuk memiliki guru-guru dengan task performance yang tinggi dan bersedia menetap di sekolah itu dalam waktu yang lama. Task performance berkaitan dengan beberapa faktor, di antaranya adalah kepuasan komunikasi, internal Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), komitmen organisasi, dan Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh kepuasan komunikasi, internal CSR, komitmen organisasi dan OCB terhadap task performance guru. Seluruh guru sekolah XYZ yang berjumlah 78 orang menjadi subjek penelitian. PLS-SEM digunakan sebagai metode penelitian dengan analisis hasil yang dibantu oleh aplikasi SmartPLS 3.0. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa internal CSR mempengaruhi komitmen organisasi, OCB, dan task performance secara positif, kepuasan komunikasi mempengaruhi komitmen organisasi dan OCB secara positif, komitmen organisasi mempengaruhi OCB dan task performance secara positif dan OCB mempengaruhi task performance secara positif. Sedangkan kepuasan komunikasi tidak mempengaruhi task performance secara positif.
