Abstract

Pendidik perlu memikirkan metode yang tepat untuk melibatkan siswa di dalam pembelajaran puisi. Pada saat pelaksanaan praktik mengajar di salah satu sekolah Kristen kelas II SD, terdapat faktor yang menghambat keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran puisi, yaitu terdapat beberapa siswa yang masih belum bisa membaca kata, mengingat pembelajaran, dan menjawab pertanyaan pendidik. Penulis mengambil satu langkah nyata dengan menerapkan metode bervariasi. Metode yang diterapkan ialah metode tanya jawab, diskusi, dan ceramah interaktif. Pemilihan dan penerapan metode bervariasi membutuhkan adanya epistemologi sebagai kerangka berpikir dan pengetahuan pendidik. Pendidik Kristen perlu meminta bantuan Roh Kudus untuk menjadi pemimpin di dalam pembelajaran untuk membentuk kasih serta kesabaran di dalam pembelajaran. Allah menciptakan setiap siswa unik dan memiliki kelebihan serta kekurangan di dalam proses pembelajaran. Untuk itu, penulis menerapkan metode bervariasi guna mengajak dan membawa siswa terlibat di dalam pembelajaran sebagai satu solusi memenuhi hambatan yang dimiliki siswa. Tujuan penulisan tugas akhir ini ialah memaparkan penerapan metode bervariasi dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa pada pembelajaran puisi di sekolah dasar dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Penerapan metode bervariasi dapat melibatkan siswa secara aktif dalam berbagai aspek pembelajaran. Saran yang dapat dilakukan ialah menerapkan metode pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa dan dapat mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Kata kunci: Metode bervariasi, pembelajaran puisi, siswa sekolah dasar/Educators need to think of appropriate methods to involve students in poetry learning. During the implementation of teaching practice in one of the second-grade Christian schools of SD, some factors hindered student involvement in poetry learning, namely there are some students who still cannot read words, remember the lesson, and answered the teacher's questions. The author takes a real step by applying various methods. The method applied is the method of question and answer, discussion, and interactive lectures. The selection and application of varied methods require an epistemology as a framework for thinking and knowledge of educators. Christian educators need to ask for the help of the Holy Spirit to be a leader in learning to form love and patience in learning. Allah created each student unique and has advantages and disadvantages in the learning process. For this reason, the authors apply various methods to invite and bring students involved in learning as a solution to meet the obstacles students have. The purpose of writing this final project is to describe the application of various methods in increasing student involvement in poetry learning in elementary schools. The method used in this paper is descriptive qualitative. The application of various methods can involve students actively and involve students in various aspects of learning. Suggestions that can be done are not to apply learning methods according to student needs and can achieve learning objectives. Keywords: Varied methods, poetry learning, elementary school students.
