Abstract

Selanjutnya, intention to adopt memiliki dampak positif yang signifikan terhadap intention to recommend. / The development of communication technology is increasing, due to the increase of usage of mobile phones and internet. Along with that, many doctors use these newer and recent technology to get the latest information about the development of medical science. However, there is lack of research paper to explain which factors could influence usage of eCME application in Indonesia. In order to fill this gap, the research model has been modified from previous research. This study aims to investigate the influence of colleague recommendation, job relevance, networking quality, perceived eCME benefit, result demonstrability, application attractiveness, information quality, information presentation, perceived usefulness, knowledge confirmation, physician’s age, and perceive ease of use with the intention to adopt and its impact toward intention to recommend. This research model was tested on all doctors who have used health applications based on eCME Alodokter, Halodoc, D2D, and Docquity in Indonesia. Data collection was carried out by purposive sampling with 248 respondents, in which the data were then analysed using the PLS-SEM method. The results of this study has shown that relevant jobs, perceived benefits, perceived ease of use, and perceived usefulness have a significant influence on intention to adopt. Furthermore, the intention to adopt has a significant positive impact on the intention to recommend. This finding shows useful implications for managerial application nor for the developers perspective to increase the efficiency of futures applications or systems. However, this empirical model has weak predictive accuracy with medium predictive relevance as there are very few managerial implications from this study and recommendation for further study. Therefore, the next study could research more on relevant variables to impact intention to recommend.
