Abstract

Mokaru is a training program for prospective Sekolah Karakter teachers that lasts for 3 months and aims to increase teachers’ knowledge about the PHBK learning model, teachers’ skills and character. This study aims to evaluate the implementation for Mokaru Program in Sekolah Karakter through CIPP (Context, Input, Process, and Product) method developed by Daniel Stufflebeam. The research subjects were 15 prospective teachers at Sekolah Karakter who had to take part in Mokaru Program before officially joining Sekolah Karakter. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, study documents, Focus Group Discussion and questionnaires. Data validity was tested by using triangulation techniques and Pearson Product moment formula for questionnaires instrument. The data was analyzed using direct interpretation and descriptive statictic for evaluation product. The result on this study showed the evaluation of a) Context, it has potential and capablity to implement the program, the program objective also integrated with school’s vision and mission, b) Input, training model, budgeting, supporting factors are good and appropriate, c) Process, it need improvement in temrs of recruitment time for new teachers to join the Mokaru Program, d) Product, program results are in accordance with the objectives to be achieved, namely improving the character, skills and knowledge of teachers regarding the PHBK model./ Program Mokaru merupakan program pelatihan bagi calon guru Sekolah Karakter yang berlangsung selama 3 bulan dan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan mengenai model pembelajaran PHBK, keterampilan dan karakter guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pelaksanaan Program Mokaru di Sekolah Karakter dengan menggunakan model penelitian CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) oleh Daniel Stufflebeam. Subjek penelitian adalah 15 calon guru di Sekolah Karakter yang harus mengikuti Program Mokaru terlebih dahulu sebelum resmi bergabung menjadi guru Sekolah Karakter. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi, studi dokumen, Focus Group Discussion dan kuesioner. Keabsahan data diuji menggunakan triangulasi dan validitas reliabilitas Pearson product moment untuk kuesioner. Analisis data menggunakan interpertasi langsung dan dengan statistik deskriptif pada evaluasi product. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan evaluasi a) Konteks, memiliki potensi dan kemampuan untuk melaksanakan program, tujuan program juga terintegrasi dengan visi dan misi sekolah, b) Masukan, model pelatihan, penganggaran, faktor pendukung baik dan sesuai, c) Proses, perlu perbaikan dalam hal waktu rekrutmen guru baru untuk mengikuti Program Mokaru, d) Produk, hasil program sesuai dengan tujuan yang ingin dicapai yaitu peningkatan karakter, keterampilan dan pengetahuan guru tentang PHBK model.
