Abstract
Employee’s motivation can fluctuate everytime. A decrease in working motivation can affect employee’s performance. The organization, or in this case the leader, needs to be more attentive to it. Factors that can affect employee’s working motivation include organizational climate and self-efficacy. This research is investigating the impact of the two factors towards working motivation. This study uses a quantitative approach. The three problem formulations that prompted this research were (1) whether organizational climate has a positive impact on employee’s work motivation at XYZ School Jakarta, (2) whether self-efficacy has a positive impact on employee’s work motivation at XYZ School Jakarta, and (3) whether organizational climate and self-efficacy have positive effects simultaneously on employee’s work motivation at XYZ School Jakarta. The population is 57 people and the research sample, selected through the simple random sampling technique, is 30 people. The method of collecting data is using a questionnaire with a scale of organizational climate, scale of self-efficacy and scale of work motivation. As test requirements, the following tests are done: a normality test, a multicolliniarity test, and a heteroscedasticity test. Hypothesis were tested by using a a multiple linear regression test. The test results concluded that the organizational climate and self-efficacy, partially or simultaneously, have positive impacts on the work motivation of the employees of XYZ School Jakarta./ Motivasi bekerja karyawan dapat berfluktuasi setiap harinya. Penurunan motivasi kerja dapat mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan, sehingga penting bagi organisasi, atau dalam hal ini atasan, untuk lebih memperhatikannya. Faktor-faktor yang dapat memberikan pengaruh pada motivasi kerja karyawan antara lain adalah iklim organisasi dan efikasi diri. Penulis tertarik untuk meneliti lebih lanjut pengaruh kedua faktor ini terhadap motivasi kerja para karyawan. Penelitian ini menerapkan pendekatan kuantitatif. Tiga rumusan masalah yang mendorong dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah (1) apakah iklim organisasi memberikan pengaruh yang positif terhadap motivasi kerja karyawan di sekolah XYZ Jakarta, (2) apakah efikasi diri memberikan pengaruh yang positif terhadap motivasi kerja karyawan sekolah XYZ Jakarta, dan (3) apakah iklim organisasi dan efikasi diri secara simultan memberikan pengaruh yang positif terhadap motivasi kerja karyawan di sekolah XYZ jakarta. Populasi yang tersedia adalah sejumlah 57 orang dan sampel penelitian, yang dipilih dengan teknik simple random sampling, berjumlah 30 orang. Metode yang dipakai untuk mengumpulkan data adalah dengan menggunakan kuesioner dengan skala iklim organisasi, skala efikasi diri dan skala motivasi kerja. Untuk memenuhi uji persyaratan dilakukan uji normalitas, uji multikoliniearitas dan uji heteroskedastisitas, sedangkan untuk uji hipotesis digunakan uji regresi linier berganda. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa iklim organisasi dan efikasi secara parsial maupun simultan, memberikan pengaruh secara positif terhadap motivasi kerja karyawan sekolah XYZ Jakarta.
