Abstract

Keaktifan siswa merupakan hal yang penting dalam pembelajaran. Sebagai fasilitator, guru perlu mengupayakan keaktifan siswa-siswinya agar proses pembelajaran dapat berjalan dengan baik. Namun, selama praktik mengajar penulis menemukan masalah ketidakaktifan siswa di mana mereka cenderung tidak mendengarkan atau memperhatikan penjelasan materi dan tidak menjawab pertanyaan. Demi mewujudkan peran guru sebagai fasilitator, penulis mengkaji penggunaan media Youtube dan Wordwall untuk membangun keaktifan siswa. Dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, tujuan penulisan ini yaitu untuk mengkaji pengaruh penggunaan media Youtube dan Wordwall sebagai wujud peran guru untuk membangun keaktifan siswa dalam belajar. Setiap orang percaya dipanggil untuk melayani Allah dan kerajaan-Nya, serta diperlengkapi dengan berbagai kemampuan dan potensi. Begitu pun dengan guru dipanggil oleh Allah dan dikaruniakan kemampuan, salah satunya mampu memilih dan menggunakan media pembelajaran, seperti Youtube dan Wordwall. Keduanya terbukti berhasil membangun keaktifan siswa. Jumlah siswa yang aktif dalam mendengarkan meningkat dari 3 siswa menjadi 7 siswa, sedangkan jumlah siswa yang aktif dalam menjawab pertanyaan meningkat dari 3 siswa menjadi 8 siswa. Saran penulis kepada guru atau peneliti berikutnya adalah mengikuti pelatihan dan seminar untuk mengembangkan kompetensi dalam menggunakan media pembelajaran / Student activeness is important in learning. As a facilitator, teachers need to encourage student activeness so that the learning process can run well. However, during the teaching practice the writer found the problem of student inactivity where they tended not to listen or pay attention to the explanation of the material and did not answer the questions. Realizing the teacher's role as a facilitator, the author examines the use of Youtube and Wordwall media to build student activeness. By using a qualitative descriptive method, the purpose of this paper is to examine the effect of using Youtube and Wordwall media as a form of the teacher's role to build student activeness in learning. Every believer is called to serve God and His kingdom. Believers are equipped with various abilities and potentials. Likewise, teachers are called by God and given abilities, one of that through being able to choose and use learning media, such as Youtube and Wordwall. Both medias had been proved successful in building student activeness. The number of students who were active in listening increased from 3 students to 7 students, while the number of students who were active in answering questions increased from 3 student to 8 students. The author’s suggestion to the next teacher or researcher is to attend training and seminars to develop competence in using learning media.
