Abstract

Semua aktivitas pembelajaran didesain dan dilakukan untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran, tetapi guru seringkali kurang mampu melibatkan siswa dan justru menempatkan dirinya sebagai pusat pembelajaran, sehingga tujuan pembelajaran tidak tercapai secara maksimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan upaya pengoptimalan partisipasi belajar siswa melalui belajar kelompok dengan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Guru Kristen dipanggil dan diperlengkapi Allah dengan kemampuan pedagogiknya untuk mendidik siswa. Guru memiliki dasar filosofis yang menggerakkan pengajaran mereka, termasuk melibatkan siswa dalam pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat empat indikator partisipasi belajar siswa seperti bertanya, menjawab pertanyaan, mengerjakan tugas dan mengumpulkan tugas tepat waktu. Partisipasi ini dapat ditingkatkan melalui penerapan belajar kelompok. Adapun beberapa tahapan penerapannya yaitu penyampaian prosedur dan peraturan, pembentukan kelompok heterogen dengan ketua kelompok, penyampaian materi, pemberian tugas dan kesempatan berdiskusi, sesi presentasi kelompok, sesi tanya jawab, pemberian penghargaan dan kesimpulan. Melalui penerapan ini guru Kristen tidak lagi menempatkan dirinya sebagai pusat pembelajaran, tetapi karena peran Roh Kudus mereka dimampukan untuk menempatkan Kristus sebagai pusatnya. Saran untuk penelitian selanjutnya adalah perlunya perubahan anggota belajar kelompok secara berkala sesuai topik yang dipelajari dan guru juga dapat memberikan waktu persiapan sebelum presentasi sekitar 10 menit, supaya semua siswa dapat mempersiapkan diri/All learning activities are designed and carried out to achieve learning objectives, but teachers are often unable to involve students and instead place themselves as the center of learning, so that learning objectives are not achieved optimally. This study aims to describe efforts to optimize student learning participation through group study with descriptive qualitative research methods. Christian teachers are called and equipped by God with their pedagogical abilities to educate students. Teachers have a philosophical foundation that drives their teaching, including involving students in learning. The results showed that there were four indicators of student participation in learning such as asking questions, answering questions, doing assignments and submitting assignments on time. This participation can be increased through the application of group learning. There are several stages of implementation, namely the delivery of procedures and regulations, the formation of heterogeneous groups with group leaders, delivery of materials, assignment and discussion opportunities, group presentation sessions, question and answer sessions, awarding and conclusions. Through this application, Christian teachers no longer place themselves as the center of learning, but because of the role of the Holy Spirit they are enabled to place Christ as the center. Suggestions for further research are the need to change group study members periodically according to the topics studied and the teacher can also provide preparation time before presentation of about 10 minutes, so that all students can prepare themselves
