Abstract

Pembelajaran adalah proses yang dirancang untuk mengatur, mengaktifkan, dan meningkatkan kegiatan belajar agar tujuan pembelajaran tercapai dengan efektif. Melalui observasi, penulis menemukan bahwa terdapat siswa kelas XI di salah satu sekolah Kristen di Jakarta yang tidak mengikuti pembelajaran dengan aktif. Ketidakaktifan terlihat dari adanya siswa yang tidak menjawab pertanyaan guru, mengantuk selama pembelajaran berlangsung, dan tidak memberikan respons terkait pertanyaan mengenai cerita Alkitab yang sudah umum meskipun siswa mayoritas beragama Kristen. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji penerapan metode Baca Gali Alkitab untuk mengoptimalkan keaktifan siswa dalam pembelajaran Agama Kristen. Metode yang digunakan penulis dalam kajian ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Untuk menuntun siswa maka penulis menggunakan metode Baca Gali Alkitab (BGA) untuk mengoptimalkan keaktifan siswa. Melalui pembahasan hasil observasi dan kajian teori, maka penulis menyimpulkan bahwa peran guru sebagai penuntun dengan menerapkan metode baca gali Alkitab dapat mengoptimalkan keaktifan siswa dalam pembelajaran agama Kristen. Saran yang dapat diberikan adalah guru Kristen harus menjadi penuntun untuk mengoptimalkan keaktifan siswa dengan menerapkan metode pembelajaran yang tepat, salah satunya metode Baca Gali Alkitab yang harus diterapkan secara konsisten untuk mendapatkan hasil pembelajaran yang maksimal./Learning is a process designed to organize, activate, and improve learning activities so that learning objectives are achieved effectively. Through observation, the author found that there were class XI students in one of the Christian schools in Jakarta who did not actively participate in learning. Inactivity can be seen from students who do not answer the teacher's questions, are sleepy during learning, and do not respond to questions about Bible stories that are common even though the students are predominantly Christian. The purpose of this study is to examine the application of the Bible Reading method to optimize student activity in Christian learning. The method used by the author in this study is a descriptive qualitative method. To guide students, the author uses the Bible reading method to optimize student activity. Through the discussion of the results of observations and theoretical studies, the author concludes that the role of the teacher as a guide by applying the Bible reading method can optimize student activity in Christian learning. The advice that can be given is that Christian teachers should be a guide to grow students' activeness by applying appropriate learning methods, one of which is the Bible Reading method which must be applied consistently to get maximum learning results.
