Abstract

Pada PPL2 ditemukan permasalahan terkait kurangnya kedisiplinan di kelas III. Beberapa perilaku tidak disiplin siswa adalah keluar kelas tanpa izin, tidak mendengarkan penjelasan guru/teman yang sedang berbicara, dan tidak mengangkat tangan ketika hendak bertanya sehingga kelas menjadi ribut. Untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan penulis memberikan upaya dengan menerapkan penghargaan. Tujuan dari penulisan ialah Mendeskripsikan kedisiplinan siswa saat penghargaan diterapkan dalam pelaksanaan prosedur kelas dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif pada pemaparannya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dengan menjalankan tahapan penerapan penghargaan dengan pengingat mengenai prosedur yang diberikan secara konsisten mampu menumbuhkan kedisiplinan siswa dalam mengikuti prosedur sehingga penerapan penghargaan untuk membentuk kedisiplinan siswa dalam mengikuti prosedur kelas menunjukkan hasil yaitu siswa terlihat menjadi semakin disiplin. Berdasar pada pemaparan kesimpulan penulisan ini ialah guru memiliki peran untuk menuntun siswa dalam menumbuhkan kedisiplinannya dengan salah satu cara ialah penerapan penghargaan. Guru tidak bisa mengabaikan pendidikan karakter siswa dalam pembelajaran. Berdasar pengalaman penulis maka saran yang diberikan ialah dalam perancangan prosedur kelas guru perlu untuk berdiskusi dengan rekan sejawat agar mendapat masukan mengenai ketepatan prosedur yang hendak diterapkan dalam kelas. Dalam pemaparan prosedur guru perlu menggunakan bahasa sederhana yang dapat dengan mudah dimengerti oleh siswa serta memiliki ketegasan dalam penerapan penghargaan dan prosedur yang berlaku dalam kelas / In PPL2, problems were found related to the lack of discipline in class III. Some of the students' undisciplined behaviors are leaving the classroom without permission, not listening to the explanation of the teacher/friend who is talking, and not raising their hands when they want to ask questions so that the class becomes noisy. To solve the problem, the author gives an effort by applying the reward. The purpose of writing is to describe the discipline of students when reward is applied in the implementation of class procedures using descriptive qualitative methods in the exposure. The results showed that by carrying out the stages of applying the reward with reminders about the procedures given consistently able to foster student discipline in following procedures so that the application of reward to form student discipline in following class procedures results, namely students seem to become more disciplined. Based on the exposure of the conclusion of this writing, the teacher has a role to guide students in cultivating their discipline in one way is the application of reward. Teachers cannot ignore the character education of students in learning. Based on the writer's experience, the advice given is that in designing class procedures, teachers need to discuss with colleagues in order to get input on the accuracy of the procedures to be applied in class. In the explanation of procedures, teachers need to use simple language that can be easily understood by students and have firmness in the application of reward and procedures that apply in the classroom.
