Abstract

Keaktifan siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika dan bahasa merupakan komponen penting dalam ranah afektif agar terlaksananya proses pembelajaran yang efektif. Keaktifan ini dipengaruhi oleh beragam faktor seperti merasa pembelajaran tersebut tidak menarik, membosankan, sulit dan lainnya. Data penelitian disalah satu TK Kristen di Jakarta Barat menunjukkan siswa TK A kurang aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Diketahui siswa tidak fokus, kurang responsif, malu bertanya, kurang memperhatikan aturan saat pembelajaran matematika dan bahasa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan upaya guru dalam mendorong keaktifan siswa TK dalam pembelajaran matematika dan bahasa dengan menggunakan video pembelajaran. Ketidakaktifan memengaruhi hasil belajar siswa dan menjadikan proses pembelajaran tidak optimal sehingga perlu untuk dikembangkan. Pemilihan media pembelajaran berupa video sebagai solusi atas permasalahan ini mengarah pada pembelajaran yang kreatif, interaktif dan kontekstual. Adapun Tujuan penulisan ini yakni mengetahui penggunaan video pembelajaran untuk mendorong keaktifan siswa TK dalam pembelajaran matematika dan bahasa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Diperoleh hasil bahwa penggunaan video pembelajaran berhasil mendorong keaktifan siswa TK terhadap pembelajaran matematika dan bahasa. Selama penggunaan video pembelajaran siswa terlihat berkonsentrasi dalam belajar dan hasil belajarnya mengalami kemajuan. Penggunaan video pembelajaran dapat menjadi solusi bagi guru untuk mendorong keaktifan siswa sekaligus menyadarkan siswa akan dirinya sebagai gambar dan rupa Allah. Siswa diberikan kapasitas dan kebebasan dalam bertindak untuk memuliakan Allah. Saran penulis adalah mengkolaborasikan dan mengkreasikan penggunaan video pembelajaran dengan berbagai sumber belajar lainnya./Student activity in learning mathematics and language is an important component in the affective realm in order to carry out an effective learning process. This activity is influenced by various factors such as feeling that learning is uninteresting, boring, difficult and others. Research data from one Christian kindergarten in West Jakarta shows that kindergarten A students are less active inlearning. It is known that students are unfocused, less responsive, shy to ask questions, pay less attention to the rules when learning mathematics and language. This study aims to explain the efforts of teachers in encouraging the activeness of kindergarten students in learning mathematics and language using learning videos. Inactivity affects student learning outcomes and makes the learning process not optimal so it needs to be developed. The selection of learning media in the form of videos as a solution to this problem leads to creative, interactive and contextual learning. The purpose of this writing is to know the use of learning videos to encourage the activeness of kindergarten students in learning mathematics and language. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative. The results were obtained that the use of learning videos succeeded in encouraging the activeness of kindergarten students towards learning mathematics and language. During the use of learning videos students are seen concentrating on learning and their learning outcomes are progressing. The use of learning videos can be a solution for teachers to encourage student activity while making students aware of themselves as the image and likeness of God. Students are given the capacity and freedom to act to glorify God. The author's suggestion is to collaborate and create the use of learning videos with various other learning resources.
