Abstract

Disiplin belajar adalah perilaku ketaatan siswa terhadap proses pembelajaran di dalam kelas. Guru sebagai komunikator memiliki peran untuk meningkatkan disiplin dengan mengatasi perilaku ketidakdisiplinan siswa. Melalui langkah-langkah penggunaan peraturan dan prosedur kelas, meliputi pelaksanaan dan evaluasi yang tepat akan menciptakan kondisi pembelajaran yang optimal demi terlaksananya tujuan pendidikan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, ditemukan adanya ketidakdisiplinan belajar siswa selama kegiatan pembelajaran berlangsung. Adapun tujuan penulisan paper ini adalah untuk memaparkan penggunaan peraturan dan prosedur kelas dalam meningkatkan disiplin belajar siswa kelas III SD. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam paper ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Berdasarkan data yang ada, ditemukan adanya peningkatan disiplin belajar siswa, terutama pada salah satu indikator, yaitu perhatian dalam kegiatan pembelajaran dari persentase sebesar 52% (kategori rendah) menjadi 80% (kategori tinggi). Oleh karena itu, hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan peraturan dan prosedur yang baik dapat meningkatkan disiplin belajar siswa dengan ditandai adanya pengurangan jumlah siswa yang melanggar. Saran yang dapat dilakukan oleh penulis berikutnya adalah memaparkan lebih detail per indikator dan langkah-langkah penerapannya agar dapat dipahami lebih baik dan lengkap, serta menggunakan instrumen penelitian yang lebih lengkap dan detail. Penulis juga memberikan saran kepada guru untuk dapat menggunakan peraturan dan prosedur kelas secara spesifik, konsisten dan konsekuen kepada siswa./Learning discipline is the behavior of students' obedience to the learning process in the classroom. Teachers as communicators have a role to improve discipline by overcoming students' undisciplined behavior. Through the steps of using classroom rules and procedures, including proper implementation and evaluation, it will create optimal learning conditions for the implementation of educational goals. Based on the results of the study, it was found that there was an indiscipline in student learning during the learning activities. The purpose of writing this paper is to describe the use of classroom rules and procedures in improving the learning discipline of third grade elementary school students. The research method used in this paper is descriptive qualitative method. Based on existing data, it was found that there was an increase in student learning discipline, especially in one indicator, namely attention in learning activities from a percentage of 52% (low category) to 80% (high category). Therefore, these results indicate that the use of good rules and procedures can improve student learning discipline with a marked reduction in the number of students who violate. Suggestions that can be made by the next author are to describe in more detail each indicator and the steps for its implementation so that it can be understood better and more completely, and to use research instruments that are completer and more detailed. The author also provides suggestions for teachers to be able to use classroom rules and procedures specifically, consistently, and consequently to students.
