Abstract

Dalam menjalankan sebuah kegiatan wirausaha dibutuhkan semangat serta motivasi. Semangat seseorang untuk memulai sebuah usaha maupun menjalankan usaha dapat dipengaruhi oleh dukungan dari orang-orang disekitar mereka seperti keluarga, teman, maupun kerabat. Penelitian dilakukan untuk menganalisis dan memahami seberapa besar pengaruh dukungan dari keluarga mencakup dukungan secara finansial, modal sosial, dan emosional dapat memberikan pengaruh terhadap semangat wirausaha seorang wirausahawan atau calon wirausahawan. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan melakukan survei terhadap 352 responden mahasiswa strata satu (S1) Universitas Pelita Harapan. Data yang dikumpulkan kemudian dianalisis mengunakan metode analisis jalur melalui perangkat lunak SPSS Statistics Versi 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dukungan keluarga yang mencakup Dukungan Finansial, Dukungan Modal Sosial, dan Dukungan Emosional memberikan dampak positif signifikan secara langsung dan juga memberikan dampak positif signifikan secara tidak langsung melalui variabel Modal Psikologis terhadap Semangat Wirausaha. / Running an entrepreneurial activity requires high passion and motivation. A person’s passion to start a business or run a business can be influenced by support of the people around them such as family, friends, relatives, and so on. This study aims to examine the positive influence of family support which includes financial support, social capital,and emotional support can influence the entrepreneurial passion of a prospective entrepreneur. Data collection in this study was carried out conducting a survey of 352 respondent who were undergraduate students at Pelita Harapan University. The data collected was then analysed using the path analysis method using SPSS Statistics Version 26 software. The result showed that family support, which includes Financial Support, Social Capital Support, and Emotional Support had a significant positive effect both directly and indirectly through Psychological Capital on the Entrepreneurial Passion of UPH students.
