Abstract

Disiplin belajar sangat diperlukan dalam sebuah proses pembelajaran karena dengan demikian, siswa dapat menaati peraturan di dalam kelas, menunjukkan perilaku positif selama pembelajaran, bahkan dapat membimbing siswa pada komunitas belajar yang sehat. Namun, keadaan sesungguhnya yang ditemui peneliti pada siswa kelas I di salah satu SD Kristen di Bangka adalah para siswa tersebut tidak menunjukkan disiplin belajar selama pembelajaran berlangsung. Siswa sebagian besar mengobrol selama pembelajaran, tidak menaati peraturan kelas, tidak menyimak penjelasan guru, bahkan kerap berjalan-jalan selama pembelajaran berlangsung. Untuk itu, peneliti memilih menerapkan reward chart untuk meningkatkan disiplin belajar siswa kelas I di salah satu SD Kristen di Bangka. Penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Pelton, dilakukan sebanyak dua kali penerapan. Setiap penerapan memiliki lima tahapan yaitu identifikasi masalah, pengumpulan data, rencana pelaksanaan, pelaksanaan penelitian, dan penilaian hasil. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa-siswa kelas kelas I di salah satu SD Kristen di Bangka yang terdiri dari 26 siswa. Sumber data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah lembar check list, wawancara, rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP), umpan balik mentor, dan jurnal refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan reward chart dapat meningkatkan disiplin belajar siswa kelas I di salah satu SD Kristen di Bangka. / les in classroom, show positive behaviour, even lead students to a good learning community. However, the reality found by the researcher in grade I students in one of Christian elementary school at Bangka showed that the students were lacking of discipline during the lesson. Most of the students talked during the lesson, did not obey classroom rules, did not pay attention to the teacher, even often walked around during the lesson. Therefore, the researcher implemented reward chart to improve grade I student’s discipline in one of Christian elementary school at Bangka. The method used in this research was a Classroom Action Research (CAR) model of Pelton, conducted in two times of implementation. Each implementation had five steps which consist of issue identification, data collection, action planning, plan activation and outcome assessment. The subjects of the research were 26 grade I students in one of Christian elementary school at Bangka. The data resources used were check list, mentor interview, lesson plan, mentor feedback, and reflection journal. The result showed that implementation of reward chart could improve grade I student’s learning discipline in one of Christian elementary school at Bangka.
