Abstract

Matematika merupakan bagian dari kehidupan sehari-hari. Konsep matematika yang paling dasar adalah mengenal bilangan. Dalam mempelajarinya, dibutuhkan ketelitian sehingga penting diajarkan sejak usia dini. Berdasarkan hasil observasi pada mata pelajaran matematika ditemukan bahwa kemampuan mengenal bilangan 1-10 pada siswa K2A masih perlu diperbaiki. Dengan demikian, peneliti memutuskan melakukan penelitian dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal bilangan 1-10 dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran flashcard. Model Penelitian tindakan kelas yang digunakan adalah model Pelton yang terdiri atas lima tahap melalui tiga tindakan. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada 14 Agustus-30 Oktober 2018 dengan 22 siswa sebagai subyek penelitian. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP), Umpan balik mentor, Jurnal refleksi peneliti, Lembar tes siswa, Obersvasi dan Wawancara (guru mentor). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kemampuan mengenal bilangan 1-10 meningkat pada setiap tindakan. Tindakan pertama persentase siswa yang lulus KKM yaitu mencapai 69%, tindakan kedua 69%, dan tindakan ketiga 88%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran flashcard dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal bilangan 1-10 di TK SDH Holland Village Manado, melalui langkah-langkah penggunaan media flashcard yaitu; flashcard dipegang setinggi dada dan ditunjukkan kepada siswa. Siswa menyebutkan bilangan yang terdapat pada flashcard, flashcard disusun secara berurutan dan ditunjukkan kepada siswa, siswa menyebutkan bilangan sesuai pada flashcsard. Siswa menghitung jumlah gambar yang terdapat pada flashcard, siswa mendengarkan penjelasan guru tentang cara bermain dengan flashcard. Siswa bermain dengan menggunakan flashcard./ Mathematics is a part of daily life. The most fundamental concept of mathematics is number recognition. In studying that, precision needed so it is important to be taught from early childhood. Based on the result of observation on mathematics subject, it was found that students at K2A need improvement on their number recognition of 1-10. Therefore, the researcher decided to conduct a research about the use of learning media of flashcard to improve number recognition of 1-10. The classroom action research method used the model of Pelton which consist of five stages with three times of implementation. The research was conducted on August 14 until October 30, 2018 with the total of 22 students as the research subject. The instruments used are lesson plan, mentor feedback form, researcher reflection journal, student worksheet, observation, and interview (with the mentor teacher). The result of the research shows that number recognition of 1-10 of K2A increasing on every implementation. The first implementation, students who passed the passing grade reached 69%, second implementation at 69%, and 88% at third implementation. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of flashcard learning media to enhance ability numbers 1-10 recognition of kindergarten students at SDH Holland Village Manado, that implemented through stages of flashcard implementation which are: holding flashcard at the heights of chest and show it to the students while they mention the number contained in the flashcard. Arranging the flashcard in order and show it to the students. Students mention the numbers as contained in the flashcard, students count the amount of pictures contained in the flashcard. Students listen to teacher’s explanation about how to play with flashcard and students playing with flashcard
