Abstract

Sikap disiplin merupakan sikap yang harus dimiliki oleh siswa saat belajar, karena sikap disiplin menolong siswa untuk bertanggung jawab di dalam kelas. Jika sikap disiplin tidak dimiliki oleh siswa, maka kondisi kelas tidak akan kondusif sehingga tujuan pembelajaran tidak dapat tercapai dengan baik. Berdasarkan pengamatan peneliti, siswa kelas II SD Kristen Makedonia menunjukkan sikap yang tidak disiplin seperti berteriak, mengobrol, dan tidak taat pada peraturan terutama pada saat pelajaran Tematik. Peneliti memutuskan menggunakan penerapan konsekuensi perilaku untuk meningkatkan sikap disiplin belajar siswa, oleh karena itu penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk 1) mengetahui apakah penerapan konsekuensi perilaku dapat meningkatkan disiplin belajar siswa, serta 2) mengetahui bagaimana penerapan konsekuensi perilaku dapat meningkatkan disiplin belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) versi Robert Pelton yang dilaksanakan pada tanggal 31 Juli 2018 – 18 September 2018, dengan menggunakan 5 tahapan yaitu identifikasi masalah, pengumpulan data, perencanaan tindakan, pelaksanaan tindakan, dan penilaian hasil. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas II SD Kristen Makedonia yang terdiri dari 23 siswa. Sumber data yang digunakan penelitian ini adalah refleksi, lembar observasi checklist, lembar angket, wawancara, RPP dan umpan balik mentor. Berdasarkan analisis data, hasil observasi mentor menunjukkan peningkatan 12% pada indikator kedisiplinan 1 dan 2, hasil observasi teman sejawat juga menunjukkan peningkatan 12,5% pada indikator 1 dan 11,7% pada indikator 2. Hasil angket siswa menunjukkan peningkatan dari rentang waktu tindakan 1 ke tindakan 2 sebesar 13% pada indikator 1 dan 20,7% pada indikator 2. Umpan balik dari RPP mengajar, wawancara mentor dan refleksi peneliti juga menunjukkan proses peningkatan perilaku disiplin yang semakin membudaya disetiap tindakannya. Berdasarkan penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan konsekuensi perilaku dapat meningkatkan disiplin belajar siswa kelas II SD Kristen Makedonia pada mata pelajaran Tematik dengan cara 1) menentukan konsekuensi yang akan diberikan, 2) menerapkan penguatan positif sebagai akibat dari penerimaan dan 3) menerapkan hukuman sebagai akibat dari penolakan yang dilakukan secara konsisten. / Discipline is an attitude that students must have in learning, because discipline helps students to be more responsible in class, without discipline, the class will not be a environment condusive learning for objectives cannot be well achieved. Based on the researcher’s observation, grade II students in Makedonia Christian School showed undisciplined attitudes such as shouting, chatting, and disobeying the rules, especially in Thematic lessons. The researcher decided to apply behavioral consequences to increase students’ discipline in learning Thematic subjects, therefore this research aims to 1) finding out whether the application of behavioral consequences is able to increase discipline in learning, and 2) finding out how the application of behavioral consequences is able to increase discipline in learning. This research uses a class action research (CAR) method by Robert Pelton. This research was held on July 31 - September 18, 2018, by applying 5 stages i.e, problem identification, collecting data and information, action planning, action implementation and assessment. The subject of this research consists of 23 grade II students from SD Kristen Makedonia. The instruments of this research are checklist observation sheet, questionnaires sheet, interviews, lesson plans and mentor’s feedback. According to data analysis, the result of the mentor’s observation showed 12% increase in first and second discipline indicators. The partner’s observation also shows 12.5% increase for first indicator and 11.7% for second indicator, the results of the student questionnaire also shows an increase from the first action to the second action by 13% in the first indicator and 20.7% in the second indicator. Results of mentor interviews, mentor feedback, lesson plans and research reflection journal also show the process of increasing disciplinary behavior that has became a habit. Based on this reasearch, it can be concluded that applying behavioral consequences can increase discipline in learning for Makedonia Christian School grade II students on thematic subjects by emphasizing 1) determine the consequences that will be given, 2) applying positive reinforcement as a consequences for acceptance and 3) applying punishment as a consequences for rejection which is done consistenly.
