Abstract

Behavior modelling is a four-steps strategy; attention, retention, reproduction and motivation. It focuses on teacher and students’ behavior. This strategy is an unending learning process through imitation of modeled behavior. In a learning process, the problems that occurs was students’ misbehavior that affected learning process. Students demonstrated misbehavior such as lack of attentiveness in classroom and cried easily (inferiority). The purpose of this writing is to describe the implementation of Behavior Modelling strategy to nurture students’ behavior and teachers’ respond towards students’ misbehaviors. The methodology used is qualitative method and study of literature. The data shown that there is a development in students’ behavior which impacted to learning process. The selection and implementation of Behavior Modelling strategy cannot be separated from the role of The Holy Spirit to nurture students as a holistic human being and to transform students into the likeness of Christ. Recommendation for the next researcher is to prepared a longer time for both observation and implementation of Behavior Modelling strategy by having a specific students’ misbehavior. Therefore, in the implementation of Behavior Modelling strategy can be done effectively because the desired modeled behavior is tailor-made for students’ needs. / Teknik Modeling adalah strategi empat langkah; perhatian, retensi, produksi dan motivasi. Teknik Modeling berfokus pada perilaku guru dan siswa. Strategi ini adalah proses pembelajaran tanpa akhir melalui peniruan perilaku yang dimodelkan. Dalam proses pembelajaran, permasalahan yang terjadi adalah perilaku siswa yang kurang baik sehingga mempengaruhi proses pembelajaran. Siswa menunjukkan kurangnya perhatian di dalam kelas dan mudah menangis (inferioritas). Tujuan dari penulisan ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan strategi Teknik Modeling untuk membina perilaku siswa dan respon guru terhadap kenakalan siswa. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dan studi literatur. Data menunjukkan adanya perkembangan perilaku siswa yang berdampak pada proses pembelajaran. Pemilihan dan implementasi strategi Teknik Modeling tidak lepas dari peran Roh Kudus untuk membina siswa sebagai manusia yang holistik dan mengubah siswa menjadi serupa dengan Kristus. Rekomendasi bagi penulis selanjutnya untuk mempersiapkan waktu yang lebih lama baik untuk observasi maupun implementasi strategi Teknik Modeling. Untuk memiliki perilaku siswa yang spesifik. Oleh karena itu, dalam penerapan strategi Teknik Modeling dapat dilakukan secara efektif karena perilaku yang dicontohkan disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan siswa.
