Abstract

Disiplin adalah tindakan dalam melaksanakan peraturan dan tugas dalam waktu yang ditentukan dengan kesadaran diri untuk menciptakan kehidupan yang teratur dalam masyarakat. Namun, fakta yang ditemukan pada siswa K3A selama kegiatan belajar mengajar, yaitu masih banyak siswa yang belum bisa menaati peraturan kelas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penerapan penguatan positif mampu atau belum mampu meningkatkan kedisiplinan, serta langkah-langkah penerapan penguatan positif mampu meningkatan kedisiplinan siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas model Pelton. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada Kamis, 25 Oktober 2018 hingga 30 Oktober 2018 dalam tiga tindakan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di TK Palembang Harapan di kelas K3A dengan subjek 5 siswa dari 23 siswa. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalah rancangan perencanaan pembelajaran (RPP), jurnal refleksi, observasi mentor dan panduan wawancara guru mentor. Analisis hasil data penelitian yang digunakan untuk menjelaskan hasil penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa penerapan positive reinforcement belum mampu meningkatkan disiplin siswa kelas K3A TK Palembang Harapan. Penelitian ini belum berhasil karena peneliti tidak menerapkan beberapa langkah dalam penerapan positive reinforcement. Langkah penerapan positive reinforcement yang dipilih peneliti adalah memberikan apresiasi maupun ajakan kepada siswa yang berperilaku positif atau yang negative. Langkah kedua yaitu memberikan penghargaan kepada siswa yang sudah menaati peraturan dalam kelas. Positive reinforcement dapat meningkatkan disiplin dengan menerapkan metode ini dengan konsisten dan terstruktur./ Discipline is an action in implementing rules and tasks in a specified time with self-awareness to create a regular life in society. However, thes that found in K3A pupils during teaching and learning process, there are many of pupils who have not been able to obey classroom rules. The purpose of this research is to find out the application of positive reinforcement capable or not able to improve pupils’ discipline and does the steps to implement positive reinforcement can improve pupils’ discipline. The research method used is Classroom Action Research by Pelton. The research was conducted on Thursday, October 25, 2018 to October 30, 2018 in three actions. This research was conducted at Palembang Harapan Kindergarten in the K3A class with a total of 23 pupils. The research instruments used by researchers are lesson plans, reflection journals, mentor observation and teacher mentor guided interview. The analysis of the results of the research data used to explain the results of this study is descriptive qualitative. Based on the results of the research, the researcher concluded that the implementation of positive reinforcement had not able to improve the discipline of K3A students in Palembang Harapan Kindergarten School. This research has not been successful because researcher did not implement several steps in the implementation of positive reinforcement. The step of positive reinforcement is to give appreciation and pursued the pupils who behave positively or negatively. The second step is giving rewards to pupils who could obey the rules in the class. Positive reinforcement can improve discipline by applying this method consistenl and structured.
