Abstract

Minat belajar merupakan salah satu hal yang penting karena minat merupakan hal yang mendasari seseorang dalam belajar. Namun berdasarkan hasil observasi, ditemukan masalah kurangnya minat belajar pada mata pelajaran Matematika. Oleh karena itu hendak dilakukan penelitian tentang penerapan metode Course Review Horay dengan tujuan: 1) untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya peningkatan minat belajar Matematika kelas VI di SD Lentera Harapan Gunung Agung melalui penerapan metode Course Review Horay dan 2) untuk mengetahui langkah-langkah penerapan metode Course Review Horay dalam meningkatkan minat belajar Matematika kelas VI di SD Lentera Harapan Gunung Agung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) oleh Robert Pelton. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Senin, 22 Oktober 2018 hingga Kamis, 25 Oktober 2018 dengan dua kali tindakan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Lentera Harapan Gunung Agung di kelas VI dengan subjek penelitian 23 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah RPP, umpan balik guru mentor, observasi guru mentor, angket dan jurnal refleksi peneliti. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan metode Course Review Horay dapat meningkatkan minat belajar murid pada mata pelajaran Matematika yaitu sebesar 65% pada tindakan pertama menjadi 79% pada tindakan kedua dengan menerapkan metode Course Review Horay sesuai dengan prosedur yang telah disusun. /Learning interest is one of the important things because interest underlies a person in learning. But based on the results of observations, it was found the fundamental problem is learning interest in Mathematics. Therefore want to do research on the implementation of Course Review Horay method with aims: 1) to find out whether there is an increase learning interest in Mathematic subject at grade VI SD Lentera Harapan Gunung Agung through the implementation of Course Review Horay method and 2) to find out the procedure for applying Course Review Horay method in increasing learning interest in Mathematic at grade VI SD Lentera Harapan Gunung Agung. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) by Robert Pelton. This research was conducted on Monday, October 22, 2018 until Thursday, October 25, 2018 with two actions. This research was conducted at SD Lentera Harapan Gunung Agung in class VI with 23 research subjects. The instruments used were RPP, teacher mentor feedback, teacher mentor observation, questionnaire and researcher reflection journal. The data analysis technique used is qualitative descriptive. The results of the study show that the Course Review Horay method can increase students' interest in learning Mathematics by 65% in the first action to 79% in the second action by applying the Course Review Horay method in accordance with the procedures that have been prepared.
