Abstract
Disiplin belajar sangat penting dalam membantu siswa untuk mengendalikan diri dengan setiap bentuk peraturan, kesiapan dan ketepatan waktu dalam belajar. Namun pada kenyataannya, peneliti menemukan masih banyak siswa yang belum mampu menerapkan dan mengetahui pentingnya disiplin belajar di dalam kelas. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, peneliti menggunakan penerapan reward and consequences untuk meningkatkan disiplin belajar siswa kelas 1 dengan langkah-langkah yang digunakan yaitu merancang peraturan bersama siswa, mengingatkan peraturan dan menerapkan secara konsisten. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Pelton. Penelitian dimulai dari tanggal 3 September 2018 sampai 20 September 2018 dengan dua kali penerapan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas I tahun ajaran 2018/2019 semester ganjil dengan jumlah siswa 34 orang yang terdiri dari 16 laki-laki dan 18 perempuan. Sumber data yang digunakan antara lain: RPP peneliti, umpan balik mentor, jurnal refleksi, dan lembar observasi. Hasil analisis variabel masalah dengan menggunakan lembar ceklis mentor yang digunakan untuk melihat peningkatan pada disiplin belajar siswa kelas I dengan indikator pertama untuk penerapan pertama mendapatkan hasil 87,5% dan penerapan kedua 98.5%. Pada indikator kedua untuk penerapan pertama 88.2% dan penerapan kedua mendapatkan hasil 95.5%. Pada indikator ketiga untuk penerapan pertama 86.7 dan penerapan kedua mendapatkan 98.5%./ Learning discipline is important to help the students for controlling themselves in every rule, their readiness and punctually in the learning process.. However, the researcher still found some students who were not able to apply and to acknowledge the importance of it in the classroom. It is seen when some of them were neglecting the rules and focus only on their own things (chatting, walking around the class, disturbing their friends) during the learning process. In coping with it, the researcher tried to apply the reward and consequences strategy to increase the first grader. The research model used is Classroom Action Research by Pelton. The research was started with two applications on 3rd until 20th September 2018. The subject in this research was the first grader which consist of 16 males and 18 females. The sources of data used were: a researcher’s lesson plan, mentor feedback, a reflection journal, and an observation sheet. The result of the analysis shows an increase in the learning discipline of the first grader with a percentage of indicators. The analysis result of problem variable by using mentor checklist has been used to see the improvement of first graders’ learning discipline with the first indicator for the first implementation achieved 87, 5% and the second implementation is 98,5%. On the second indicator shows 88,2% and second implementation shows improvement to 98,5. It can be seen through each implementation that there is improvement occurred on each indicator of students discipline.
