Abstract

Keaktifan belajar siswa merupakan salah satu aspek yang penting dalam pendidikan. Keaktifan belajar siswa tersebut dapat ditunjukkan secara fisik, mental, dan intelektual. Peneliti menemukan bahwa masih ada permasalahan mengenai keaktifan belajar siswa SD kelas II di Sekolah Ora et Labora BSD, yaitu siswa tidak aktif dalam bertanya, menjawab pertanyaan, dan juga mengerjakan tugas tidak tepat waktu. Melihat permasalahan tersebut peneliti mengupayakan penyelesaian masalah tersebut dengan menerapkan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) untuk mengetahui apakah penerapan tipe STAD dapat meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa SD kelas II dan mengetahui bagaimana langkah penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD yang dapat meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa SD kelas II. Penelitian ini menggunakan model Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) Pelton yang dilaksanakan dalam dua kali penerapan tindakan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 18 September - 1 November 2018 di Sekolah Ora et Labora BSD dengan subjek penelitian 18 siswa yang terdiri dari 10 siswa dan 8 siswi. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan untuk melihat penerapan tindakan adalah RPP, umpan balik mentor, jurnal refleksi, dan lembar wawancara yang akan dianalisis secara deskriptif. Sedangkan, instrumen yang digunakan untuk melihat keaktifan belajar siswa adalah umpan balik mentor, jurnal refleksi, dan lembar wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terjadi peningkatan keaktifan belajar siswa dari tindakan yang pertama sampai tindakan yang kedua dengan menerapkan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dengan langkah-langkah sebagai berikut: 1) penyampaian tujuan dan motivasi belajar, 2) penyampaian materi, 3) pembagian kelompok, 4) aktivitas kelompok, 5) kuis, 6) evaluasi, dan 7) penghargaan kelompok./ Student learning activeness is one of the important aspects in education. Student learning activeness can be shown physically, mentally, and intellectually. The researcher found that there were problems in student learning activeness of the second grade students in Ora et Labora School which is located in Bumi Serpong Damai (BSD). In this school, students were not active in asking questions, answering questions, and not doing assignments on time. Looking at these problems, the researcher decided to apply Student Team Achivement Division (STAD) type of cooperative learning to know that the learning activeness of second grade students and to know steps of STAD type of cooperative learning could improve the learning activeness of second grade students. This research used class action research with Pelton method which was carried out in two times the implementation of the action by applying STAD type of cooperative learning. The research was conducted on 18th September until 1st November 2018 in second grade of Ora et Labora School with 18 students as a research subjects consisting of 10 male students and 8 female students. The research instruments used lesson plan, mentor feedback, reflection journals, interview sheets, and observation sheets. The results showed that there was an increase in student learning activeness from the first action to the second action by applying STAD type of cooperative learning with the following steps: 1) delivery of learning goals and motivation, 2) delivery of material, 3) goup division, 4) group activity, 5) quiz, 6) evaluation, and 7) giving awards.
