Abstract

Kedisiplinan suatu hal yang penting dalam pembelajaran karena melalui disiplin siswa belajar untuk bertanggung jawab, kontrol terhadap diri sendiri, kesadaran diri, menghargai orang lain dan memampukan siswa dalam berpikir rasional ketika diperhadapkan sebuah konflik. Berdasarkan hasil observasi ditemukan bahwa sebagian besar siswa menunjukkan sikap tidak disiplin seperti: siswa tidak mengikuti peraturan dan prosedur, ribut saat pembelajaran, sering bercanda saat pembelajaran berlangsung. Oleh karena itu, peneliti menerapkan Solusi yang ditawarkan peneliti adalah penerapan konsekuensi positif dan konsekuensi negatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah dan bagaimana konsekuensi positif dan konsekuensi negatif dapat meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa kelas V di sekolah Lentera Harapan Labuan Bajo. Penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) model Robert P Pelton. Subyek penelitian ini adalah 15 siswa kelas V sebanyak 15 orang. Penelitian dimulai dari tanggal 19 Oktober 2018 - 30 Oktober 2018. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu: angket, RPP, jurnal refleksi, dan umpan balik. Data penelitian dianalisis secara matematis untuk kuntitatif dan secara deskriptif untuk kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, pemberian reward dan konsekuensi meningkatkan kedisiplinan dengan hasil peningkatan: indikator 1 mendapat persentase 100% tetap. Indikator 2 mendapat persantase 20%. Indikator 3 mendapat persentase 13,4%. Indikator 4 mendapat persentase 6,7%. Penerapan prinsip konsekuensi positif dan konsekensi negatif yang dipakai adalah sebagai berikut: (1) penghargaan disesuaikan dengan prestasi, (2) penghargaan harus benar-benar berhubungan dengan prestasi, (3) penghargaan harus diberikan langsung ketika perilaku yang diinginkan dilaksanakan, (4) penghargaan harus bervariasi, (5) penghargaan hendaknya mudah dicapai, (6) jangan memberikan penghargaan sebelum siswa berbuat, (7) pada waktu menyerahkan penghargaan hendaknya disertai penjelasan. Sedangkan prinsip konsekuensi yang dipakai untuk penerapan adalah (1) besar atau kecilnya pelanggaran, (2) konsekuensi diberikan melihat jenis kelamin, (3) akibat-akibat yang mungkin timbul dalam konsekuensi (jangan memberikan konsekuensi yang memberikan dampak negatif pada anak), (4) pilihlah bentuk-bentuk konsekuensi pedagogis, (5) sedapat mungkin jangan menggunakan hukuman badan./ Discipline is one of the important keys in teaching and learning process. Through discipline, the student learn to be responsible, submit to the order, rule, and procedure in the classroom, respect each other, and enables them to think rationally when they face conflicts in the classroom. Based on the issue identification, data collection, from 2 weeks of observation, it was found that the students lack of self discipline, such as: the students did not follow the rules and procedures and joke around during the teaching and learning process. Therefore, the solution offered to overcome this issue was the implementation of positive and negative consequence to know what and how they affect and improve the self discipline of grade V at Sekolah Lentera Harapan Labuan Bajo. The research method used by the researcher is the Classroom Action Research (CAR) of Robert P. Pelton. The research subject was 15 students of grade V. The research was conducted from 19th to 30th of October 2018. The instruments used were: checklist, questionnaire, lesson plan, reflection journal, and feedback. The data of the research was analyzed mathematically for quatitative data and descriptive fot qualitative data. Based on the result of the research, the giving of reward and consequence improved the students’ discipline with the result: indicator 1 got 100%, indicator 2 got 86.6%, indicator 3 got 93.3%, and indicator 4 got 100%. These are the principals of reward: (1) the reward is in line with the achievement (2) the reward should be related with the achievement (3) the reward is given directly when the expected behavior is done (4) the reward should be in various forms (5) the reward should be easy to achieve (6) do not to give reward before the students do thing (7) when giving reward, it should be along with explanation. Meanwhile, the principals of consequence are: (1) align with the wight of the violation (2) the consequence is given by considering the gender (3) the impact that might happen in consequence (do not give consequence that would bring negative impact to the students (4) better to give pedagogical consequences (5) if possible, do not use physical consequence.
