Abstract

Kelas merupakan sarana paling efektif untuk melakukan interaksi antara guru dengan siswa maupun antar siswa lainnya. Selama di kelas, siswa harus terlibat aktif dalam semua aktivitas pembelajaran. Namun berdasarkan pengamatan di kelas IV SKKK Kosambi peneliti menemukan bahwa siswa tidak menunjukkan keaktifannya dalam proses pembelajaran. Hal tersebut ditandai dengan siswa tidak aktif dalam menyatakan pendapat dan mengajukan pertanyaan, tidak aktif menanggapi pendapat orang lain, tidak mengerjakan tugas dengan baik dan tidak aktif terlibat dalm kegiatan penyelesaian masalah. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keaktifan siswa melalui penerapan metode picture and picture. Metode penelitian yang digunakan peneliti adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) model Palton yang dilaksanakan pada 25 September 2018, 1 Oktober 2018 dan 17 Oktober. Penelitian ini dilakukan satu kali penerapan yang melibatkan 24 orang siswa. Ada pun data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar observasi, umpan balik guru pamong, dan jurnal refleksi peneliti. Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan bahwa penerapan metode picture and picture dapat meningkatkan keaktifan siswa kelas IV SKKK Kosambi pada mata pelajaran IPA. Hal ini ditandai dengan berhasilnya indikator keaktifan siswa yang digunakan, yaitu indikator menyatakan pendapat dan mengajukan pertanyaan mencapai hasil 75% siswa melakukan, indikator menanggapai pendapat orang lain mencapai hasil 45% siswa melakukan, serta indikator mengerjakan tugas dengan baik dan terlibat dalam penyelesaian masalah mencapai hasil 100% siswa melakukan./ A class is the most effective mean for students to interact with teachers and with the other students. During in class, students must be actively involved in all learning activities. However, based on the observation in class IV SKKK Kosambi, the researcher found that not all students show their active participation in class. The problem was indicated when students didn’t do active in expressing opinions, asking questions and responding to others' opinions. They didn't do their assignments well and didn't participate actively in problem solving activity. Therefore, this research are aimed to increase students' active participation through the application of picture and picture method. The research method that the researcher used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) modeled by Pelton which was held 25th September 2018 1 th October 2018 and 17th October 2018. This research was done in one time application which involved 24 students. The datum used in this research are observation sheet, mentors’ feedback and researchers’ reflection journal. As a result that the implementation of picture and picture method increased grade IV students’ activeness at SKKK Kosambi on science subject. This achievement characterized by the succesness of the used indicators of students’ achievement, 75% of the students performed that the indicator of expressing opinions and asking question achived, 45% of the students showed that the indicator of responding to others’ opinions achieved, also 100% of the students performed that the indicators of doing the task very well and solving the problem acvieved.
