Abstract

Hasil belajar kognitif adalah salah satu kompenen penting dalam proses pembelajaran, karena menunjukkan tingkat penguasaan siswa terhadap tujuan pembelajaran yang telah ditetapkan. Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan hasil tes menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada mata pelajaran biologi rendah dan tidak mencapai KKM. Oleh sebab itu, model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together diterapkan sebagai solusi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan model Pelton. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SLH Jatiagung dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas XI MIA yang berjumlah 20 orang pada tanggal 14 Agustus 2018 sampai 26 Oktober 2018. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar kognitif siswa kelas XI MIA meningkat dari penerapan pertama ke penerapan dua. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa melalui 5 langkah, yaitu: 1) pembagian kelompok, 2) memberikan pertanyaan, 3) berpikir bersama, 4) Pemanggilan nomor, dan 5) memberikan pertanyaan / Cognitive learning outcomes is an important component in the learning process because it indicates to the students’ mastery level in the learning objectives that had set. Based on the observation and the test results, showed that students cognitive learning outcomes in biology subject is very low dan it did not reach the predetermined standard. Therefore, the cooperative learning model type Numbered Heads Together applied as the solution. This research aims to increase cognitive learning outcomes through the implementation of cooperative learning model type numbered heads together. The research method used is classroom action research (PTK) with Pelton model. The research was conducted in SLH Jatiagung with research of students in grade XI MIA that consist of 20 students on August 14, 2018, until October 26, 2018. The result of this research showed that the learning outcomes of students in grade XI MIA is increasing from first action to the second action. Based on the research, it can be concluded that the implementation of cooperative learning model type numbered heads together can increase the cognitive learning outcomes of students in grade XI MIA in the topic musculskeletal system through 5 steps which are: 1) group division, 2) give questions, 3) heads together, 4) call out, dan 5) give answers.
