Abstract

Salah satu hal penting agar pembelajaran di kelas dapat berlangsung dengan baik adalah saat siswa taat dan disiplin dalam mengikuti pembelajaran. Namun, hasil observasi di kelas VII B SMP Kristen Kalam Kudus Yogyakarta menunjukkan bahwa siswa sanagt kurang dalam hal kedisplinan belajar. Hal ini terlihat dari sikap siswa yang cenderung tidak mentaati guru seperti berbicara pada saat guru sedang menjelaskan di depan kelas, meninggalkan tempat duduk dan keluar kelas tanpa ijin kepada guru, tidak mengerjakan tugas sesuai dengan pengarahan dari guru. Oleh karena itu, metode prosedur kelas dapat diterapkan menjadi pedoman bagi siswa agar mereka tahu apa yang harus dilakukan dan apa yang tidak harus dilakukan pada saat pembelajaran berlangsung, tujuannya adalah untuk meningkatkan disiplin serta mengetahui langkah-langkah yang tepat dalam penerapan metode prosedur kelas untuk meningkatkan kedisiplinan belajar siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas model Pelton dalam tiga kali pertemuandengan subjek penelitian siswa SMP sebanyak 27 orang. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrument berupa lembar observasi mentor, umpan balik mentor, jurnal refleksi dan angket siswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis penelitian maka dapat dilihat pencapaian kedisiplinan belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan yaitu pada indikator satu siswa terlibat dengan serius dalam kegiatan belajar mencapai 72,86%, pada indikator dua siswa mematuhi peraturan dan prosedur kelas yang disepakati mencapai 75,33%, dan pada indikator tiga siswa belajar dengan iklim kelas yang berorientasi belajar mencapai 83,16%. Berdasarkan penerapan prosedur kelas secara konsisten dengan langkah menempel prosedur, menjelaskan, mengajak siswa untuk mempraktekkan kembali serta memberikan penguatan pada siswa di setiap kesempatan di ketahui bahwa penerapan prosedur kelas dapat meningkatkan kedisplinan belajar siswa kelas VII B SMP Kristen kalam Kudus Yogyakarta. / One of the important things for the learning process in the classroom is the obedience and discipline of each student in participating the learning process. However, the observations in class VII B of Kalam Kudus Christian Middle School Yogyakarta showed that students were very low in terms of learning discipline. This can be seen from the attitude of students who tend to disobey to the teacher such as speaking when the teacher is explaining in front of the class, leaving the seat and leaving the class without teacher permission, not doing the task according to the direction of the teacher. Therefore, the classroom procedure method can be applied as a guideline for students so that they know what to do and what they don’t during the learning process. The goal is to improve discipline and know the right steps in applying the classroom procedures method to improve students learning discipline. The research method used Pelton's Class Action Research model in three meetings with 27 junior high school students. Data and information collected by using a mentor observation sheets, mentor feedback, reflection journals and student questionnaires. Based on the result of the analysis, showed that the achievement of student learning discipline has increased namely in indicator one, students are seriously involved in learning activities reaching 72%, in the indicator two, students comply with the agreed class room procedures reaching 75%, and on indicator three, students learn with a learning-oriented classroom climate reaching 83%.Based on the application of classrroom procedures consistently with the steps of attaching procedures, explaining, inviting students to practice again and providing reinforcement to students on every occasion it is know that the application of classroom procedures can improve learning discipline in class VII B SMP Kristen Kalam Kudus Yogyakarta.
