Abstract

Keaktifan belajar merupakan bagian dari ranah pembelajaran, secara khusus ranah afektif. Keaktifan merupakan pola interaksi belajar dalam mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Fakta yang terjadi di dalam ruang kelas yaitu, masih kurangnya perilaku aktif yang terlihat dalam proses belajar kelas VIII di Sekolah Lentera Harapan (SLH) Gunung Agung. Masalah tersebut, terlihat melalui sikap siswa yang pasif dalam berdiskusi, bekerjasama, bertanya dan menjawab pertanyaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat penerapan tipe Numbered Heads Together (NHT) dalam meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa kelas VIII di SLH Gunung Agung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) menggunakan model Pelton. Penelitian dilakukan melalui tahap identifikasi masalah, pengumpulan data, perencanaan tindakan, pelaksanaan tindakan dan hasil penilaian. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan mulai tanggal 9 Agustus sampai 24 Oktober 2018. Subyek penelitian sebanyak 33 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah angket siswa dan lembar check list tipe yang dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif, jurnal refleksi, rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran, dan umpan balik mentor dianalisis dengan kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan tipe NHT memberikan kelebihan-kelebihan terhadap keaktifan belajar. Hal ini dapat dibuktikan melalui perkembangan perilaku-perilaku keaktifan belajar yang berkaitan dengan indikator di setiap penerapan. Penerapan tipe NHT dilakukan secara sistematis yang terdiri dari pembentukan kelompok, mendiskusikan pertanyaan-pertanyaan di dalam kelompok sesuai dengan nomor soal, menyampaikan hasil diskusi kelompok sesuai dengan nomor soal dan mengembangkan diskusi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, disimpulkan bahwa penerapan tipe NHT dapat meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa. / Activeness is a part of the affective domain in learning. Activeness is such a pattern of interaction in learning to achieve the learning goals. The fact happened in the classroom is that students lacked of activeness behavior during the learning process of grade VIII in Sekolah Lentera Harapan Gunung Agung. The problem is indicated through students’ passive behavior indiscussion, cooperation, asking and answering question. This research is aimed to improve the activeness of grade VIII students in Sekolah Lentera Harapan Gunung Agung by implementing the type of Numbered Heads Together. A method used in this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) model proposed by Pelton. The research was done in five steps of issue identification, data collection, action planning, plan activation, and outcome assessment. This research started on 9 th August to 24th 2018 with 33 students as the research subject. The instruments utilized is analyzed with simple statistic formula are questionnaire and check list method, while reflective journal, lesson plan and mentor feedback will be analyzed qualitatively. The results show that the implementation of the NHT type gave some advantages towards students’ activeness in learning. It is proven by the improvement of students’ behaviors that are related to the indicators in each implementation. The implementation of NHT method was done systematically in several steps of grouping, discussing question, presenting discussion results, and developing the discussion. Based on the result, it can be concluded that NHT method can improve students’ activeness in learning.
