Abstract

These days, companies are getting more and more competitive. The business nowadays is not only about providing services or products for customers, but companies need to find ways to compete with other company for the customers. To realize the goals, company need to manage inside the company first. It includes the management, structure of the business, the goals of the business, as well as the people working inside. The main purpose of this research is to find out whether Motivation has effect over Employee Performance at PT Citra Hannochs Niagantara Medan. The sample for this research is 197 out of 387 employees of PT Citra Hannochs Niagantara Medan which were calculated using the Slovin formula. The data was collected by distributing questionnaires and interviews. The data analysis method used is simple linear regression by using SPSS 25.0. The t-test result shows that motivation indeed has effect over Employee Performance at PT Citra Hannochs Niagantara Medan. The determination test shows that 53.4% of Employee Performance is explained by Motivation and the rest of it are explained by other variables./ Akhir-akhir ini, perusahaan semakin kompetitif. Bisnis saat ini tidak hanya tentang menyediakan layanan atau produk untuk pelanggan, tetapi perusahaan juga perlu menemukan cara untuk bersaing dengan perusahaan lain untuk mendapatkan pelanggan. Untuk mewujudkan tujuan tersebut, perusahaan perlu mengelola hal-hal di dalam perusahaan terlebih dahulu. Hal-hal tersebut termasuk manajemen perusahaan, struktur bisnis, tujuan bisnis, serta orang-orang yang bekerja di dalamnya. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mencari tahu apakah Motivasi memiliki pengaruh terhadap Kinerja Karyawan di PT Citra Hannochs Niagantara Medan. Sebanyak 197 sampel digunakan dari 387 karyawan yang ada di PT Citra Hannochs Niagantara untuk penelitian. Sampel dihitung dengan menggunakan formula Slovin. Data untuk penelitian diambil dengan menggunakan kuesioner dan interview. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah linear regresi sederhana dengan menggunakan SPSS 25.0. Hasil dari uji t menunjukkan bahwa motivasi memiliki pengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan di PT Citra Hannochs Niagantara Medan. Uji determinasi juga menunjukkan bahwa 53.4% dari Kinerja Karyawan dapat dijelaskan oleh Motivasi dan sisanya dijelaskan oleh factor lain.
