Abstract

Film merupakan suatu media komunikasi massa yang dapat mengkonstruksi khalayak terhadap suatu hal melalui rekaman realitas dalam bentuk audio serta visual yang berkembang dalam masyarakat kemudian di tampilkan di layar. Sehingga film lebih berpotensi dan efektif untuk menyampaikan pesan kepada khalayak dengan cakupan yang luas. “ Army of Thieves” merupakan film yang memadukan genre fiksi dan kriminal, namun pada film ini sehingga penonton dapat melihat melalui sisi lain dalam film ini yaitu adanya kerja sama tim yang secara tidak langsung di tunjukan oleh film “ Army of Thieves”. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif berdasarkan paradigma konsturktivisme dengan analisis semiotika Charles Sanders Pierce. Temuan penelitian ini di tampilkan dalam film “Army of Thieves” yang menampilkan skenario dan adegan kriminalitas dimana individual disatukan dalam kelompok perampok dengan kemampuan yang berbeda bisa menjadi sebuah tim yang baik, dan terbentuklah sebuah kerja sama tim dengan mencapai satu tujuan yang diinginkan. Penonton jadi bisa melihat bahwa melalui kerja sama tim bisa menyatukan kekuatan ide-ide yang akan mengantarkan pada kesuksesan./Film is one of the mass communication media that can construct society about something through recording reality in audio and visual form that develops in the society and then showing it on the screen. Thus enabling films to be more effective in conveying messages to audiences with a wide scope. "Army of Thieves" is a film that combines fiction and crime genres, but in this film the audience can see through the other side of this film, namely the existence of teamwork which is indirectly shown by the film "Army of Thieves". This study uses a descriptive qualitative research approach based on Charles Sanders Pierce's semiotic analysis construtivist paradigm. The findings of this research are featured in the film "Army of Thieves" which features scenarios and crime scenes where individuals united in groups of robbers with different abilities can become a good team, and a teamwork is formed to achieve one desired goal. The audience can see that working together will unite the power of ideas that will lead to success.
