Abstract

The best learning environment is an environment that is consistent with the learning objectives and can meet the needs of students. During practicum in one of the Christian school, which is a regular school, there is a special needs student with (ADHD and dyslexia) which directly and indirectly influenced the conduciveness of learning in the classroom. Special needs students are the image of God that has its uniqueness. Therefore, special needs students in the regular school need to be addressed according to their needs. The purpose of this paper is to explain how to deal with a special needs student among regular students at grade IV, especially students with ADHD and dyslexia. The result of the discussion explained three dealing ways, which are classroom management, behavior treatment, and teaching strategy. The author gives two recommendations for the school which are: consistency in carrying out the system that has been made for the special needs student and provide companion teacher who is an expert in dealing with dyslexia students. And for the next researcher, needs to focus the research on one of treatments.
